Ameila looked at Tsukuru, a small tear began to drop from her eye.
But it wasn't a tear of sadness. It was a tear of happiness.
No one had ever said such a thing to her.
All she had ever known within the Graylash family was looks of disgust and contempt.
To the point where their own family head, Grimm Graylash, had even kicked her out of the family a year before they left for the base.
Suddenly, Tsukuru reached forward, and grabbed her biceps. Amelia let out an "Eep!" in surprise.
"You may have been shown how to use the Lightning Ability, but you've never been shown how to use your Ability!" He replied. "And trust me, I can think of amazing ways to utilize electro-magnetism!"
Amelia looked at Tsukuru, wide-eyed.
"R-Really?" She asked, her voice full of hope.
She had never gotten any of the other Graylashes to agree to help train her, them all dismissing her as "a failure".
It was the reason she was still stuck as a Level 2.3.
She had to learn everything herself, while people like Bolt got private instructors.
Tsukuru nodded his head enthusiastically.
"Absolutely!" Tsukuru replied.
Meanwhile, the others watched the display, a little weirded out, if they were being honest.
Suddenly, Layla could understand how Tsukuru was able to get along so well with Vorden.
They both had personalities that seemed to dramatically shift at the drop of a hat.
Meanwhile, seeing this, Faye let out a snort.
'Yeah, he's DEFINITELY related to Shizuka.' She thought.
Shizuka also got like this when talking about old horror movies, or even worse, her…"interrogation" techniques.
Sergeant Faye stiffened her posture.
"Those of you who are injured, go to the doctor's office to get healed!"
Her head snapped towards Tsukuru and Amelia.
"That means YOU, Hikiko!"
At her words, Tsukuru brought his hand up to his face.
He almost immediately pulled it away, hissing in pain from touching his raw skin from the slash marks.
Seeing this, Amelia giggled.
Faye then turned towards the crowd.
"The rest of you, return to your dorms! Remain there until you are called! Am I understood?"
At once, the remaining second-years, including Mono, saluted in unison.
"Yes, Ma'am!" They all said in unison.
The first-years, however, were silent.
They all had no idea who she was.
Seeing this, Faye's eyes narrowed. She pulled out her Beast Gear rapier from her side, and held it in a combat pose.
Seeing this, the first-years then sounded off like the second-years.
"Yes, ma'am!" They replied.
Among the first years, Tsukuru, Vorden, Quinn, and the boy from Del's class with a propensity for asking questions were all escorted to the hospital.
The second-years all headed off towards their own building, with the healthy second-years holding up those passed out or injured on their backs.
This time, it seemed that Quinn would have to actually go to the doctor's office.
His clothes were all bloody, and he had lost a lot of blood, but after he had been out of combat for more than 10 minutes, his body began to heal on its own.
Hayley had successfully reattached Vorden's arm, and had healed his back from Mono's whip.
Additionally, she had also healed Tsukuru's face from when the second-year had clawed it up, before she finally reached Quinn.
Like with Vorden, Quinn was asked to take his shirt off.
Looking at it, Hayley had noticed that the wounds had mostly been healed.
"Hmm, that's strange." Hayley replied, catching all of their attention. "With this much blood, the wounds should be much bigger."
Quinn started to laugh nervously.
His eyes darted back and forth, as he tried to think of an excuse.
Then, his eyes landed on Tsukuru.
"Oh, Tsukuru is capable of creating low-grade healing potions with his Ability." Quinn replied.
Hearing this, Tsukuru's eyes widened.
Instantly, his head snapped over to Quinn, a look of great annoyance on his face.
Quinn looked at him with a pleading expression.
Tsukuru huffed, air blowing out of his nose.
Instantly, Hayley turned around to face Tsukuru.
"Oh, is that true?" She asked.
Tsukuru narrowed his eyes, before he then let out a sigh.
Using mental commands, he withdrew one of the Minor Healing Potions from his System's Inventory.
The typical System prompt appeared, which Tsukuru thought "yes" to.
Hayley watched in amazement, as pixels began to appear in Tsukuru's hand.
The pixels clustered together, into the form of a slender bottle.
There was a flash of light. When it faded, Tsukuru was holding the Minor Health Potion.
Hayley took the bottle out of Tsukuru's hand, and began to analyze it.
"Well, that's certainly a handy Ability." She replied, looking at the deep red liquid in the clear bottle.
Suddenly, Hayley's face scrunched up in confusion.
She looked back at Tsukuru.
"Wait." She replied. "If you can make healing potions, why didn't you use one to heal yourself?"
There was a long pause, silence filling the doctor's office.
Then, as if the information was just NOW coming to him, Tsukuru's eyes widened.
A moment later, he clutched the sides of his head, and let out a huge scream.
"AGH!" He yelled, causing Hayley to jump back.
Tsukuru felt like banging his head on a wall
"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Tsukuru screamed. "Why the hell didn't I think of that?!"
Hayley looked at Tsukuru, slightly concerned at the small boy who was currently on the verge of ripping his own hair out.
"I was just sitting on my ass when me, Layla, and Erin were watching Quinn and Vorden fight Mono!"
Hayley let out a nervous laugh, before she crept back over to Quinn.
"Is your friend alright?" She asked.
Quinn laughed nervously.
"I think he's just mad at himself." He replied.
Hayley let out a nervous laugh. She then looked back down at the red potion in her hand.
"You know…" She said, catching both Quinn and Tsukuru's attention. "It'd be great if I could get a stockpile of these."
Tsukuru took his hands off of his head, and slumped down into a defeated, depressed position.
He then waved his hand dismissively.
"That's something you'd have to take up with the Head General." Tsukuru replied, not knowing that the very man was Hayley's father.
She then continued to heal Quinn.
Once he had fully healed, a System message had appeared in front of him.
[HP: 20/20. Your hunger grows. Your HP will decrease by 1 HP every hour until blood has been consumed.]
Seeing the message, Quinn rolled his eyes.
He activated his Blood Bank. A new System message appeared.
[10 milliliters of blood has been consumed. Blood Bank: 90/100ml. Your HP will no longer decrease.]
After Quinn, Tsukuru, and Vorden had been healed, they all headed back to their dorm room.
Once they had arrived, they were told not to leave until they had been called.
Upon opening the door, they saw Peter waiting inside.
Once in a while, the voice of a private would be heard in the halls, calling out a student's name. Once the called student arrived at the private's side, he would be taken somewhere for questioning.
