Lyra had vanished into the night. That was the only explanation Jullian could offer when his boss demanded answers.
"Have you seen this woman before?" Jullian asked, sliding a tablet toward his twin sister.
Judy had been responsible for watching Lyra before the main phase of their plan began. Her expression was grim as she studied the image on the tablet. After a moment, she gave a sharp nod.
"Yes, I've seen her a few times," Judy responded. "She's the 'Auntie' Miss Lyra used to work for at that barbecue restaurant."
"How unfortunate," Jullian sighed. "That restaurant only opened recently. While everyone else rejected Miss Lyra's resume, they took her in. It was a flawless setup."
The screen showed two images. One was an elderly woman with streaks of white in her dark hair. The other was a younger woman with a sharp gaze and silver-rimmed glasses perched on her nose.
"Who is she?" Judy asked, her voice tight with urgency.
