Chapter 100 - Chapter 100 10 vs nearly a hundred!

A square formation advanced steadily through the slightly dim corridor.

This caused the Walkers ahead to seemingly turn their heads in surprise.

They began to move, to jog, their steps getting faster and faster.

"First row, push forward and hold them!"

"Merle, hand me your knife, my weapon is too big!"

Seeing over a dozen Walkers jogging towards them, Shawn immediately let out a low roar.

Taking the machete handed to him from behind, Shawn, Rick, Glenn, and Maggie all stepped forward.

They peered through the gaps above the constantly shaking riot shields of the first row.

Pfft—!

Tear—

Their knives struck almost simultaneously, then were sheathed in unison.

At the same time, four Walkers in front of them fell, making a series of heavy thuds.

"Effective!"

Shane of the first row's face lit up with joy.

The first row didn't even feel much pressure; four Walkers had already fallen in front of them.

"Continue!" Shawn and Rick exchanged glances, speaking at the same time.

About 13 Walkers were slowly worn down by the second row in 3-4 rounds.

"Man, I know you're strong, but you still need to be gentler, the blood almost splattered into my mouth."

T-Dog moved the arm holding the riot shield and complained in a strange voice.

"Haha, sorry, sorry."

Shawn laughed.

Because of how easily they could kill Walkers, even he felt a thrill of excitement at this moment.

They weren't grabbed or bitten, nor were they ambushed from front and back; the clearing operation was unusually smooth.

They were like a road roller, leaving behind only broken corpses and a pool of blood wherever they went.

Soon, the group pushed to the outside of the Power Generation Room where Shawn had been the previous night.

Listening to the humming sound coming from inside the Power Generation Room, and looking at the almost mountainous pile of Walker corpses outside the door.

Rick inexplicably looked at Shawn again, patting his shoulder as if comforting and sighing at the same time.

"Keep moving."

Being looked at by Rick with such an expression, Shawn felt quite embarrassed and quickly diverted his attention, saying.

They bypassed the small mountain of corpses.

When the group pushed to the metal door of Cell Block A, the number of wandering Walkers suddenly increased.

"This should be one of the hordes that surrounded Shawn back then."

"We cleared a lot in the recreation yard, so what's left here shouldn't be too hard to clear."

Glenn wiped Maggie's sweat, adjusted his hat to hide his sweat-soaked hair, and said in a deep voice.

"Jim, Otis, are you two still up for it?"

Shawn stopped the team and didn't rush in, but instead asked as quietly as possible.

There was no need to ask Shane and T-Dog; Shawn had a rough idea of their physical strength.

Besides them, Jim was tall and thin, and Otis was a bit flabby.

"Phew—still okay."

Otis and Jim swallowed and nodded.

Not having to personally kill Walkers, just blocking for a moment, was still manageable.

"OK."

"I'm not sure how many variants there are, but they definitely wander near the horde."

"We can use the angle of this metal door to limit the Walkers' attack range, thereby compensating for the numerical disadvantage."

"Of course, no matter what, remember to maintain formation."

"If the first row can't hold, they can retreat, but remember to maintain the formation; don't break it."

Shawn instructed with some solemnity.

If it was just him, he could do whatever he wanted.

But once others were involved, it was best to choose the safest plan.

"Understood!" the crowd chorused.

Receiving Shawn's signal, Shane took out a small knife and tapped the metal door heavily with its thick end.

"Rotten fellows, are you ready to have your throats pierced?!"

Shane's voice fell.

1 second… 2 seconds… 3 seconds…

Suddenly.

The entire A Block erupted!

The density of footsteps far exceeded the dozen or so from earlier.

But before the horde could surge forward, from the side behind the metal door, a Crawler leaped out like a frog.

"What is that thing?"

Otis glanced at it, somewhat bewildered.

But the Crawler lunged forward in a flash, slamming into Otis's riot shield and knocking him to the ground.

"Fuck!"

"What the hell is that thing?!"

Shane's blood rushed, and he couldn't help but stab it and kick it.

The Crawler was kicked back.

"Get up quickly!"

Maggie exclaimed, helping Otis up from behind with Glenn.

Because the Crawler had just regained its footing, the next second it charged again.

"Damn it, let me!"

Shawn pulled Jim, who was blocking him, away, and, following the Crawler's momentum as it lunged, he shoved the Shotgun's muzzle directly into its mouth.

Bang—!

A flash of light flickered through its skin.

The Crawler flew backward, a large hole blown through it from front to back, its internal organs mixed with blood splattered everywhere.

"What a waste of effort." Shawn helped Otis up with one hand and retreated to the back row.

"Attention, the big one is coming!"

The footsteps grew louder and more urgent!

As the team's formation restored, the figures of Walkers began to appear around the corner of the corridor deep in Block A.

There was a huge swarm of them, conservatively estimated at least 70 to 80.

"Hold them!"

Shawn spread his hands, supporting the backs of the four in the first row from behind.

When this small horde met the shields, a powerful force surged forth!

Shawn's veins bulged in his hands as he used all his strength to support the first row, while the first row gripped their riot shields tightly, not daring to let go.

Through the transparent riot shields, on the other side were Walkers frantically opening and closing their mouths.

Waves of bloody stench came through; it felt like directly embracing the Walkers, face to face with them.

At this point, Daryl and Merle didn't even bother looking behind them, turning around to help the front.

With dozens of Walkers surging forward, there was no time for cold weapons; the three in the second row all pulled out their pistols.

Bang—!

Bang bang bang—!

Bang bang—!

Gunshots and flashes of light passed, and a large pile of Walkers fell in front of the formation.

"Start retreating!"

Shawn roared.

It wasn't that his arms were sore and he couldn't support them anymore, but rather that too many corpses had piled up in front, severely affecting the killing rhythm.

The group moved like a fixed unit, retreating 10 steps with a 'whoosh,' letting the remaining Walkers pour in all at once.

As the number of Walkers began to decline, the pressure on the first row significantly lessened.

Shawn pulled out his machete and, along with Rick and the others, began to finish them off.

Although the 'Dun Jia Formation' was not perfect and it was their first time using it together.

The effect it produced was astonishing.

With firearms, and complete protective suits and riot shields.

Ten people were actually able to withstand the charge of dozens of Walkers in a confined space!

"One more push, kill them all!"

Merle roared from behind.

He held a sniper rifle, taking them down one by one through the scope.

Encouraged by the surge of bloodlust, the second and third rows struck harder and harder.

Within 20 minutes, a small horde of Walkers was completely wiped out.
