Shawn opened his eyes, and a message appeared before him.

The Walkers Shawn killed on a whim at the Hospital a few days ago had brought his experience pool to 93%.
After returning to the Prison, he leveled up the next day.
Over the next few days, Shawn gained experience, either passively or actively, and finally reached Lv50 this morning.
"Aren't you going to sleep a little longer?"
Beth pressed against Shawn's face, her voice soft and intimate as she asked.
"I've slept enough."
Shawn ruffled her golden hair, kissed her smooth forehead, then got dressed and stood up.
Shawn came to Sector C of the Prison, where Oscar was doing pull-ups on the second-floor railing.
In the apocalypse, this was a complete waste of physical strength. It seemed to offer no short-term benefits, other than weakening one's condition for the day.
However, Shawn was quite pleased to see this scene.
Shawn couldn't quite explain why.
Perhaps it was because such behavior often signified the Camp's'safety' and'strength'.
Seeing Shawn appear, Oscar quickly jumped down from the railing, clapped his hands, and looked at Shawn.
"What can I do for you?"
"How are the people in Sector B?"
Shawn got straight to the point.
Oscar followed beside him, and the two walked towards Sector B.
"They're doing quite well. I've been preparing food and medical supplies for them these past few days."
"They don't make noise or cause trouble, and they haven't mentioned leaving."
Oscar reported everything he had observed over the past few days.
When Shawn handed him the key, he knew what it meant.
'The upright and steady Oscar, the Warden's number one Prison guard, cool~~'
His consciousness returned, and Shawn's voice came to his ears.
"As expected."
"They've just lost everything; they still need time to adapt."
Shawn never thought this group would repay kindness with ingratitude. Having almost been wiped out by the Governor, they probably hadn't recovered even now.
Arriving at Sector B, upon hearing the door open, many people in their cells craned their necks to look over.
"Are we eating so early today?"
Someone rubbed their stomach and looked over. The moment he saw Shawn, he grabbed the cell bars and quickly shouted.
"I know you! You were the one causing trouble at the Mine Camp back then!"
Shawn looked over upon hearing this, scrutinizing him up and down. He seemed somewhat familiar.
But when Shawn saw Kenny walking out from behind him, he suddenly realized.
"So it's someone from the Kenny Party."
Hearing the commotion, Lily also walked from her cell to the doorway. Next to her were Lee and Clementine.
Compared to the Kenny Party, she and her remaining former subordinates just quietly watched Shawn, waiting for him to speak.
Seeing the reactions of Lily and the others, Shawn nodded in satisfaction and informed Oscar.
"Go, let them out."
"As for them…"
Shawn looked at the Kenny Party, and his gaze met Kenny's through the bars.
"I think they still need to stay a bit longer."
Lily had been terrified by the Governor in this battle, especially when she saw her own people fall one by one before her. The pressure brought by the Governor was unparalleled.
She and her remaining people couldn't cause any trouble, and neither could Lee and Clementine.
So, he would let them out first, while Kenny and his subordinates still needed to endure some more time.
The cell door opened with a near-wailing sound.
Lily looked at Shawn with some disbelief: "We're free just like that?"
"What else do you want?"
Shawn looked at her somewhat helplessly.
"I mean… what about the Governor? You're just letting us out like this?"
The sudden freedom caught Lily off guard.
"The Governor? Do you remember what I said before? I personally cut off his head."
"Of course, don't misunderstand, you can still only move within the Prison's sphere of influence."
"Because in exchange for us taking down the Governor, you need to join the Prison."
"It's a good deal, isn't it?"
"After all, the Mine Camp is gone forever."
Upon hearing Shawn mention the Mine Camp, a hint of pain appeared in Lily's eyes.
"Perhaps you are right, but I cannot make this decision myself."
It was only then that Shawn suddenly realized.
Also a leader, Lily had always upheld 'fairness' and 'reason'.
They had come in a hurry and knew nothing about the Prison, so they needed to observe.
Being locked in a cell, they couldn't observe anything.
"Alright," Shawn nodded.
"But please remember, the Prison doesn't support idlers. Once you walk out of this door, you will need to demonstrate your value to earn food and everything else."
Lily was a rational person, and precisely because of this, Lily would choose the right thing after weighing the pros and cons.
So Shawn wasn't worried at all that she would just leave.
In short, within a hundred miles, besides the Prison, there was no better place to stay.
If she truly cared about her people, she would stay.
Leaving a remark, Shawn was about to leave, but as he passed the cell door, a small hand grabbed his clothes.
Shawn lowered his head, and what met his eyes was a head straining to look up.
She wore a blue and white hat, trying to raise her gaze as high as possible.
"Lee said you're a devil."
Clementine twisted her little eyebrows, speaking earnestly, her words almost causing Lee, who was closely following behind, to break down.
Lee: Kenny and Lily wouldn't even dare to speak to him like that, you little ancestor, you're the best (thumbs up).
But this question piqued Shawn's interest.
He first glanced at Lee, then crouched down to look at Clementine, lowering his voice slightly as he said.
"Why a devil, and not something else?"
"Lee said you can absorb people's souls."
Lee: I swear to God, I never said that!
Shawn chuckled upon hearing this, raising his large hand to ruffle her head.
Clementine stubbornly wrinkled her nose, readjusting her hat.
"It's not just devils who can capture souls; God can too," Shawn tried to correct her.
"Then are you God?"
Clementine's eyes suddenly lit up upon hearing this, looking at Shawn with hope.
"No," Shawn shook his head.
But the latter half of his sentence re-energized Clementine, who had been somewhat disappointed.
Shawn pushed his long, messy hair back, speaking confidently.
"I'm even more powerful than God."
However, he then found Clementine looking at him as if he were an idiot.
Shawn frowned and retorted.
"Can God save you from the Governor's hands?"
"It seems… not?"
"I can."
"Then can God give you food and drink, and heal your wounds?"
"...He never has."
"But I have."
"Can God, in a world like this, bestow tolerance and kindness upon everyone?"
"..."
Clementine clasped her small hands and said nothing. Shawn grinned.
"But look at me, the kindness I give you is practically written on my face, you don't even need to perceive it."
"I can collect souls, and I can do things God cannot."
"So, rounding up, I am more powerful than God."
