Chapter 146 - Chapter 51: The Succubus Seduction Guide

Vic struck while the iron was hot, imagining the future with excitement in his voice:

"Hong Kong, China! When we get there, we have to find the best Cha Chaan Teng (Tea Restaurant), eat pineapple buns with butter, and drink silk stocking milk tea! And..."

He paused, a cunning glint flashing in his eyes. He lowered his voice, as if sharing a brilliant secret:

"We can send our Shadow Khan as the advance party! They're experts at infiltration, reconnaissance, and gathering intel! Guaranteed to be more informed than the local gangs!"

"By then, no matter which underground corner or dusty crack that old geezer Shendu hid his treasure in, we'll dig it out!"

Thinking about how Shendu's painstakingly hidden treasure was about to be easily found by his "dimensional strike" method, Vic couldn't help but chuckle heh heh, as if he could already see mountains of gold and silver waving at him.

In the front seat, Valmont listened. Although he didn't dare interrupt, his heart was filled with anticipation and awe for the "Shadow Khan Recon Network" Vic described.

Following Mr. Vic really means limitless prospects!

His grip on the steering wheel tightened involuntarily, as if he were holding the key to financial freedom.

"So, Mr. Vic, when do we go to Hong Kong?"

Valmont was so excited his voice trembled slightly. His hands on the wheel shook, wishing he could floor the gas pedal right now.

The Treasure of the Golden King! Getting it meant he and his boys could lie on mountains of gold, eating and drinking for several lifetimes!

Thinking back to the days of following that stingy old dragon Shendu—working hard to find talismans, covering their own expenses, bearing all the risks, and nearly losing their pants in the end—it was a history of blood and tears!

Looking at Mr. Vic again—casually tossing him a bag of gold and gems upon return, and now even having specific clues to the Golden King's treasure.

Valmont's heart surged. He wanted to look up at the sky and sigh: I, Valmont, drifted half my life without meeting a wise lord. If you do not abandon me...

"What's the rush? We have more important things to do."

Vic's lazy voice drifted from the backseat, carrying a calmness of total control that instantly doused Valmont's impatience.

"Besides, the treasure is just sitting there; it won't run away. Right now, Shendu is the most loyal watchdog for his own hoard, guarding it for us. And..."

He paused, shaking the hyper-realistic drawings in his hand—sketches produced by Venom based on Wednesday's psychic memories, accurate down to the terrifying details. The corner of his mouth hooked into a wicked grin.

"Ever heard of A-Rank Precision?"

Vic flicked the paper proudly, making a crisp sound.

"As long as we scatter our newly acquired Shadow Khan, having them compare these 'photos' all over Hong Kong, finding the location in the drawing will be a matter of minutes."

As he spoke, he naturally wrapped his arm around Wednesday's shoulder. Chin slightly raised, his face was written with the pride of "I'm with her."

"My girlfriend is just that amazing!"

"Yes, yes, yes! Sister-in-law is amazing! Both of them are!"

Valmont nodded repeatedly in agreement, his tone incredibly sincere. It wasn't entirely flattery; he genuinely thought this ability was god-tier.

I just wonder what amazing skills the blonde girl is hiding?

The term "Sister-in-law" made Wednesday and Enid blush simultaneously in the backseat. One subconsciously pressed her lips into a tight line, while the other looked down shyly, twisting her fingers.

"Uh... Boss..."

Valmont had already switched titles very naturally, placing himself clearly below Vic. "What is the more important thing?"

"Going back to school, of course."

Vic answered matter-of-factly, as if this were the most natural top priority in the universe.

"Huh?"

Valmont was completely dumbfounded, nearly losing his grip on the wheel. Treasure is right in front of us, and we're... going back to school? What kind of plot twist is this?

"I am a model student, you know."

Vic announced righteously, casually pulling a crumpled High School Student Code of Conduct from his backpack and waving it—even though there was clearly a large skull drawn on the cover with correction fluid.

Valmont: "..."

"Boss is right! Academics come first! Academics come first!"

Vic nodded with satisfaction and began to plan:

"Drop us off at the airport first. You, have your men take these drawings and a portion of the Shadow Khan brothers to Hong Kong as the advance team. Keep a low profile, don't alert the enemy. Once our semester ends and we're on break, we'll come meet you."

He thought for a moment and added:

"Oh, right. When you get to Hong Kong, scout out the best tea restaurants and pineapple buns for me in advance."

"Understood! Boss, don't worry! Mission guaranteed!"

Valmont immediately straightened his back, as if receiving a military order.

Although he couldn't quite fathom the deep meaning behind Vic's "academics first" stance, following Mr. Vic was never wrong! How could mortals speculate on the thoughts of such a lord?

Inside the car, Vic slumped back into his seat. His left hand quietly hooked Wednesday's pinky finger, while his right hand was held by Enid's warm palm.

He closed his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Hmm? Vic, something on you is poking me."

Enid reached out curiously, feeling around Vic's waist. Her fingertips touched a hard, book-shaped object.

Vic's eyes snapped open like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. He grabbed Enid's restless hand, a rare flash of panic crossing his face.

"No... nothing! Just an ordinary book!"

But the more Vic tried to hide it, the brighter the curiosity shone in Enid's big eyes.

She pouted, hanging onto Vic like a koala, and started whining softly:

"Show me~ Vic~ Just a little peek~ Please~"

After spending so much time together, Enid had learned 98% of Vic's acting cute and spoiled skills.

Unleashing it now, her voice was sweet enough to drip honey. Combined with her nuzzling into the crook of his neck, it was a lethal attack.

Even heroes fall for beauties. Vic, distracted and flustered by her nuzzling, let his guard down for a split second.

Enid seized the opportunity. With a nimble pull, she finally got her hands on the "culprit."

"Hehe, got it!"

Enid waved her trophy triumphantly, like a kitten that stole a dried fish.

Vic watched her excitement and sighed faintly, his tone carrying a meaningful warning of "at your own risk":

"Sigh... you wanted to see it yourself~ Don't regret it."

Enid ignored his "warning" completely and eagerly looked down at the book in her hands.

The cover was made of some soft leather material, smooth to the touch. But the title, written in some kind of pink pigment, gave off an indescribably weird and... improper vibe?

"Suc... cu... bus... Se... duc... tion... Guide..."

Enid read the large characters on the cover slowly and clearly, word by word. When she reached the subtitle, her voice took on obvious confusion and a strange pitch change.

"Au... then... tic... Han... Dy... nas... ty... Edi... tion?"

She looked up, blinking her big eyes. She looked at the book with the explosive title, then at Vic, who looked like he wanted to die, his ears burning red. Her small head was filled with big question marks.

Even Wednesday, who had maintained her iceberg face the whole time, was drawn in by the earth-shattering title.

Her eyes shifted slightly, landing on the book radiating a bizarre aura.

A rare light named "Interest" flashed across her pale face.

"Oh?"

Wednesday's voice remained cool, but it carried a trace of imperceptible inquiry.

"Is this... the textbook Mavis used to 'enlighten' you since childhood?"
