Naruto World – Border of the Land of Fire
Uzumaki Kushina blinked in confusion.
"...Where am I?"
She stared at the unfamiliar surroundings, still a little dazed from waking up. Then her expression shifted.
"Wait. Don't tell me I got captured?"
Her small body tensed, those big round eyes instantly filling with caution.
She had no idea why a group of people had suddenly tried to kidnap her.
"Did the secret get out? That I'm the Nine-Tails' jinchūriki? No way! I just became one!"
Her face twisted miserably.
She'd known becoming a jinchūriki wouldn't bring her a peaceful life. It was never going to be easy. But she hadn't expected reality to hit this fast.
"Tch. Brat, calm down already."
A deep, gruff voice echoed inside her mind.
"???"
Kushina froze.
Someone… spoke?
She looked around in alarm. No one there.
"..." the voice sounded annoyed. "I'm the one sealed inside you."
Kushina's face went pale. "Y-You're… the Nine-Tails?"
"Not 'Nine-Tails,' actually~"
A burst of dazzling light cut through the air. From it stepped Sam, smiling brightly. He reached out and gently ruffled Kushina's hair.
"You should call him Kurama."
"Hmph." Kurama snorted arrogantly from within. "I don't just give my name to anyone. And she's not worthy of knowing it."
"..."
Sam sighed internally.
Tsundere fox.
Then his gaze sharpened as he looked at Kushina.
Being stared at like that, Kushina instinctively stepped back.
"He knows the Nine-Tails… D-Don't tell me he's going to eat me and release it?!"
Kurama: "Huh? (Big eyes, big confusion.jpg)"
Hey. What are you thinking?
If I wanted out, I could've left ages ago, okay?!
"Just as I thought," Sam suddenly appeared beside Kushina in a blink. "Little Kushina is seriously adorable."
He scooped her up, leaned in, and rubbed his cheek against hers.
Kushina: "..."
Kurama: "..."
Assassin Wu Liuqi: "Whoa! So the Guild Leader's into little girls?! No way! I gotta warn Cola!"
Eldest Princess of Arendelle: "Hiss~ I knew it. I absolutely made the right choice not letting the Guild Leader come to my world!"
"???"
Sam stared at the guild chat, utterly baffled.
What is going on?
Kurama coughed awkwardly. "Uh… Elsa and Wu Liuqi said they wanted to see how strong a so-called Reincarnator or Transmigrator really is. So I… turned on the livestream."
"...Livestream?"
Assassin Wu Liuqi: "Yep yep! I discovered that feature!"
Sam nearly choked.
My glorious reputation… ruined in one day!
"You pervert! Get away from me!!!"
Kushina exploded in fury.
With terrifying strength far beyond her size, she punched Sam and sent him flying.
Assassin Wu Liuqi: "HAHAHA! Guild Leader got wrecked! So embarrassing. You should just quit the guild."
Eldest Princess of Arendelle: "This… this cannot be our Guild Leader. He always surprises me in the worst ways."
Inside the sealed space, Kurama covered his face.
Is this really the Guild Leader I know?
"Alright, alright."
Sam strolled back completely unharmed, smiling cheerfully. "No need to be so violent~"
Kushina stared at him in shock.
He's strong.
Way stronger than he looks.
Kurama rolled his eyes.
Of course he's strong. With your tiny, weak body, anyone would seem terrifying.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop teasing you."
"I really don't think you were teasing," Kurama muttered lazily inside the seal.
"Emmm… Kushina's just too cute. It's hard to resist!" Sam scratched his head with a laugh.
"Get lost, you creep!"
She said that, but being called cute still made her cheeks flush faintly.
"Don't be like that~"
Sam shrugged, then looked inward. "So? You coming out now?"
Kushina's heart skipped.
"I knew it. You're here for the Nine-Tails!"
"I have zero interest in Kurama. Cute girls like you, though…"
Assassin Wu Liuqi: "Ew~ Guild Leader's definitely a lolicon."
Eldest Princess of Arendelle: "Guild Leader… she's still a child!"
Sam: "..."
Elsa, you've changed. You've gotten dirty.
This is definitely Wu Liuqi's fault. That old pervert turtle.
"Ding. Assassin Wu Liuqi has been muted for one minute."
"Ding. Eldest Princess of Arendelle has been muted for one minute."
Much better.
Peace and quiet.
Kurama sighed.
Are these people even reliable?
And the Guild Leader and that Wu Liuqi… are they always this goofy?
Oh. Right.
They are.
Never mind.
"I'm coming out now," Kurama said calmly.
"Now?" Sam blinked. "But if a Tailed Beast leaves its jinchūriki, won't the host die?"
"I left a quarter of my chakra behind in her body as a clone. She'll be weak for a while, but her life won't be in danger."
"You can do that?"
Sam was genuinely impressed.
"There's an item in the guild shop. It's cheap."
Kurama definitely wasn't going to admit that sealing a quarter of his chakra into that item had taken him an entire day inside the seal.
"I see." Sam nodded. "Then come on out."
Come on!
Nine-Tails unleashed!
Side-eye grin.jpg
Hearing their conversation, Kushina gritted her teeth.
So it was true. They were planning to release the Nine-Tails.
In an instant, she activated the Adamantine Sealing Chains. A golden chain shot out toward Sam, aiming to bind him.
"Hey now. You're just a kid. No need to be so violent."
Sam casually grabbed the chain midair. "We're not going to hurt you."
Assassin Wu Liuqi (muted but somehow still commenting in spirit): "Feels like the Guild Leader is tricking a little girl…"
Eldest Princess of Arendelle: "...A-Qi, stop courting death."
Elsa had learned her lesson. She was not getting muted again.
Kurama ignored the guild entirely and focused inward.
He opened the seal from within.
A terrifying surge of chakra erupted from Kushina's body. Crimson energy roared into the sky, wild and suffocating.
Then that immense chakra slowly separated from her, gathering beside her form.
Even at only three-quarters of his full power, Kurama's chakra was overwhelming.
The pressure rolled outward like a storm.
Even more than ten kilometers away, anyone sensitive enough could clearly feel it.
"....."
