"Hm?"
Yujiro Hanma, captain of the Reincarnation Squad, was a powerhouse who specialized in body cultivation. He'd also been tracking the Nine-Tails, so the moment that overwhelming chakra flared up, he felt it.
Thompson clicked his tongue. "Looks like this guy's looking down on us. He's just letting his aura loose like that. What, he thinks we can't take him?"
Dou Erfan frowned. "I think we should be careful. This could be a trap."
Yujiro Hanma considered it for a moment. "Let's move in and check. If anything feels off, we pull out immediately."
Everyone nodded. The mission deadline was getting closer by the minute. If they didn't finish it in time, maybe nothing would happen here, but once they returned to the Main God Space, they'd be in serious trouble.
On the other side, Konoha's ANBU had also picked up on the Nine-Tails' chakra. They were quietly closing in as well.
"Found them?"
Inside Konoha, a red-haired young man listened to the intelligence relayed by his informants and turned his gaze toward Sam's direction.
"That location… perfect. A great place to make a move."
His eyes suddenly turned crimson. Tomoe spun into existence.
One. Two. Three.
Then they merged together.
Mangekyō Sharingan.
A vortex twisted into the air beside him. As the red-haired youth stepped into it, he vanished instantly.
"Are you done yet? The enemy's almost here."
Sam had access to Kurama's chakra. He'd already explained all of its forms to the Wisdom King, and with its help, he had mastered them. His perception was now frighteningly sharp. He could clearly sense the enemy approaching.
Kurama snorted. "Hmph. Those small fries can come in droves. It won't make a difference."
It wasn't arrogance. The fox had already encountered one team of Reincarnators before and had a decent grasp of their strength.
"Mm… as expected of a tsundere fox," Sam teased.
Then he added calmly, "I may have Hell, but I don't enjoy killing."
"Reincarnators?" Kurama scoffed. "They're nothing but heads waiting to be taken."
Hey, that's not arrogance. The ancestors taught us: strategically despise your enemy, tactically take them seriously.
Kurama didn't respond.
Before the ninjas provoked it and treated it like a weapon, it hadn't been hostile toward humans either.
If anyone was to blame, it was the ninjas who turned it into a tool.
Especially those two bastards, Hashirama and Madara.
After separating from Kushina, Kurama shifted into a humanoid form. It clenched its fists and nodded in satisfaction.
"My chakra's dropped a lot… but it was worth it."
Sam rolled his eyes. "With your current chakra reserves, if you learn ninjutsu properly, aside from the absolute top-tier monsters, who could even beat you? And you're still not satisfied?"
Assassin Wu Liuqi: 666. The president says no one can beat Kurama, then turns around and suppresses it himself.
Arendelle's Crown Princess: Um… didn't the president rank a whole level above Kurama?
Kurama: …Don't expose the fox like that.
Sam: Are you guys here just to argue?
It's Sam, Not Sam:: Oh right, I think I bought an A-Qi Gaiba Egg back then…
Assassin Wu Liuqi: ???
"Wait, why are you bringing that up now?"
"Heh…"
Sam pulled out the Gaiba Egg, letting out a string of suspicious laughter.
"You're laughing like a villain," Kurama muttered. "And you're scaring the little girl."
"Uh…"
Sam glanced at Kushina.
"Let me explain! I'm not crazy!"
Kushina chuckled awkwardly.
When has a crazy person ever admitted they were crazy?
"…Are you really the Nine-Tails?"
After shooting Sam a look that said you explain yourself, Kushina turned to Kurama.
"I'm not the Nine-Tails. I'm Kurama," it replied with a click of its tongue.
"Kurama…" Kushina nodded. "So that's your name?"
Kurama fell silent.
I'm pretty sure the president already said that earlier!
Suddenly, a vortex opened in midair.
"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"
Countless iron chains shot out, racing straight toward Kushina.
Kurama's beastly pupils shrank. Without hesitation, it scooped Kushina up and leapt back.
"…Intangibility?" Sam stared at the red-haired youth gradually appearing from the distortion, stunned.
"Wait. Isn't Kamui supposed to be Obito's signature move? Obito hasn't even become a chunin yet. How is this showing up already?"
"Brother Ye Yu…"
The moment Kushina saw the man across from them, she froze.
She'd just witnessed the strength of that sealing technique. It had been lethal. He was clearly trying to kill her.
"Yo, Kushina. Long time no see."
Uzumaki Ye Yu smiled casually.
"And the guy holding Kushina… mind handing her over to me?"
"Who are you?" Kurama frowned. It couldn't remember this guy at all. He hadn't appeared in the Naruto manga either.
"I'm that girl's older brother."
Ye Yu smiled faintly.
Then he glared sharply at Kurama. The Mangekyō pattern in his eyes spun into a complex design. Blood tears streamed down from the corners of his eyes.
"Amaterasu."
Sam sucked in a breath. "There it is! The legendary Amaterasu that can't burn anyone to death!"
Assassin Wu Liuqi: Whoa, that's a Mangekyō Sharingan? I thought only the Uchiha clan could have Sharingan?
Arendelle's Crown Princess: This must be the transmigrator with a system that the president mentioned, right?
It's Sam, Not Sam:: That's right. The guild detected it. He's carrying the Strongest Ninja System.
Assassin Wu Liuqi: The Strongest Ninja System?
"Yeah."
It's Sam, Not Sam:: According to the guild's description, this system allows him to obtain every ninjutsu and bloodline limit in this world.
Assassin Wu Liuqi: Every ninjutsu and bloodline limit? Confirmed. That's a full-on cheat transmigrator!
Arendelle's Crown Princess: +1.
I'm Not a Pet: A transmigrator… all the ninjutsu and bloodline limits in this world… I see now.
"....."
