Astensia blushed redder. She wasn't unaccustomed to that kind of compliment; she had heard many men spew it at her back in her time. But, it felt different in a way hearing it from someone she viewed as her leader.
Lancet watched with a thumping heart as she walked closer, slowly, until she was at the foot of the bed again.
He looked around the white hospital room. Then regarded Astensia with a nervous face. "It's dangerous… doing it here."
Astensia smiled knowingly, softly. "I suppose it is."
She kissed him again. Again. Kissed his cheek. His neck. His collarbone. She kissed him like she was admiring him.
Lancet wasn't going to lose the kissing game, so he kissed her back, worshipping her. He kissed her neck, all over her neck. Then her shoulder. Her collarbone. Her chin.
Astensia moaned softly as she climbed onto the bed, sitting on his lap again, her knees sinking into both ends of the plush hospital bed.
