The merchant quarter of Grim Eagle was a different world from the lower district. Here, the streets were clean, the buildings well-maintained, and the air carried the scent of incense and fine leather.
There were shops lining the roads which were made of cobblestones, and the windows displayed everything from enchanted jewelry to rare manuscripts.
This was Opaline's wheelhouse. There was a huge smile on her face as the trio walked through the streets. Spectra was dressed in the gown Lancet had bought her for the auction so she wouldn't draw too much attention.
Back to Opaline, the smile on her face got only wider the deeper they entered the merchant quarter. She knew a lot about magical items so she saw much of what others might miss.
Opaline noticed she saw several other things that didn't make sense to her.
