"Hold Them Down for Me!"
A pale blue underbelly.
Deep navy dorsal fins.
Massive wings shaped like open hands, stretching at least seven or eight meters wide.
The sheer pressure in the air was suffocating.
Not just from size—
From power.
Victor Stone had seen countless Pokémon in his years as Champion.
But the one before him—
He had never seen.
Still, from the ancient texts he'd studied…
He had a guess.
He just didn't dare confirm it.
"Why do you carry the aura of a god?"
The colossal sea-born Pokémon's voice echoed directly into Victor's mind.
Victor exhaled slowly.
"That… might be from my son's Pokémon."
"Possibly from Arcanine… Articuno… or others."
He couldn't even give a precise answer.
His son was simply too outrageous.
The godly auras around Ethan were practically layered.
"You've interacted with multiple divine beings?"
"…Four, at least."
Metagross.
Arcanine.
Articuno.
The Ice Lord.
Victor silently prayed this sea god had a reasonable temperament.
Even with eight Champion-level Pokémon—
He had no desire to fight a deity.
And if this Pokémon was responsible for the mass marine deaths—
Things would become far worse.
"Where did you encounter them?"
"…Around my son."
South Sea — Ethan Arrives
Ethan hovered over the vast ocean, frowning.
The South Sea was enormous.
Blind searching would be foolish.
He landed on a devastated island.
Uprooted trees.
Cratered earth.
Clear signs of violent storm impact.
"Metagross. Meloetta. Ask the locals what happened."
Native Pokémon would know more than humans.
An hour later, the two returned.
"Two divine Pokémon are fighting," Metagross relayed telepathically.
"They moved southwest."
Ethan inhaled sharply.
Worst-case scenario confirmed.
If his father had been caught near the center—
The consequences would be unimaginable.
"Move!"
They accelerated southwest at full speed.
As they advanced—
The sea grew violent.
Waves surged dozens of meters high.
The sky churned with black clouds.
Lightning tore through the storm front.
"They're still fighting…"
Ethan's eyes hardened.
"What kind of grudge lasts this long?"
Meanwhile — Victor's Dilemma
The sea god eventually departed.
Victor stood alone on a battle-scarred island.
The terrain looked bombed beyond recognition.
Char marks.
Collapsed cliffs.
Storm remnants lingering in the sky.
Should he retreat?
Or wait?
If he fled and encountered another vortex—
He might not survive.
After a long pause—
He chose to wait.
Stormfront — Divine Battle
Ethan finally reached the epicenter.
Two enormous figures clashed within the thunderclouds.
Divine energy crackled violently.
Sea and sky twisted together.
Ethan's expression turned cold.
"I don't care if it's two divine Pokémon…"
"Even if it were eight."
"Today, this stops."
He had already seen countless corpses floating in the sea on the way here.
Thankfully—
None were his father.
But that only fueled his anger.
"Metagross!"
"Arcanine!"
"Mamoswine!"
"Pin them down!"
Three divine-tier Pokémon burst forward.
Metagross' eyes gleamed with cold calculation.
Arcanine's ancient flames ignited the storm itself.
Mamoswine thundered forward like a glacial juggernaut.
3 versus 2.
Overwhelming suppression.
Ethan didn't even bother issuing detailed commands.
He trusted them.
And judging from the sheer energy signatures—
This fight would end quickly.
The storm would be forced to kneel.
