Chapter 122 - The Legendary Lugia!

Female. Definitely Female.

Even though Ethan wasn't personally directing the fight, he wasn't idle either.

Riding on Noivern, he scanned the surrounding skies and sea.

They had reached the storm's epicenter.

If his father had been swept away—

He had to be nearby.

But before they traveled far—

A massive figure burst from the sea and blocked their path.

A colossal, silver-blue Pokémon hovered before him.

Lugia

Level: 92 — Divine Tier (Second Stage)

Type: Psychic / Flying

Ability: Multiscale

Ethan's pupils shrank slightly.

Lugia?

In a single day, he had already encountered three Divine Pokémon.

And now—

The guardian of the seas itself.

Among all Legendary Pokémon, Lugia was notoriously difficult to encounter.

It spent most of the year in deep-sea trenches.

Human exploration down there was nearly impossible—

Let alone finding a sleeping legend.

"Another human tainted with divine aura?"

Lugia's telepathic voice echoed calmly.

Ethan froze briefly.

Another?

Given the South Sea's current chaos—

There was only one possibility.

"My father. You've seen him?"

"Yes. He is safe."

Ethan exhaled slowly.

The weight in his chest finally loosened.

"He waits on a barren island behind me. I can take you there."

Then Lugia paused.

"But I need your help."

Ethan blinked.

"With what?"

"Two Divine Pokémon are fighting. They're destroying my sea. Help me stop them."

Ethan coughed awkwardly.

"About that…"

"My Pokémon are already handling it."

Lugia turned sharply toward the storm center.

Only now did it sense it clearly—

Five Divine auras.

Two locked in combat.

Three suppressing them.

The winds weakened.

The waves began lowering.

The storm clouds slowly drew inward.

"It's over," Ethan muttered.

Stormfront — Suppression Complete

When Metagross and the others returned—

They were dragging two battered figures.

Tornadus — Divine Tier (Stage One)

Thundurus — Divine Tier (Stage One)

Both part of the Forces of Nature.

Exhausted.

Bruised.

Still trying to lash out at each other.

Arcanine restrained Tornadus.

Mamoswine pinned Thundurus.

Metagross stood between them like an unmovable wall.

Before Ethan could speak—

Lugia moved first.

Two enormous wind-sheathed slaps descended.

Boom.

Boom.

The shockwaves sent towering seawalls surging.

The two storm deities were blasted backward instantly.

Ethan blinked.

"…Female. Definitely female."

Only an enraged sea guardian protecting her territory would hit that hard.

"Alright, alright—don't kill them," Ethan stepped in quickly.

Tornadus and Thundurus were rare Divine beings.

Letting them die here would be a waste of centuries of accumulation.

Each Divine breakthrough required unimaginable time.

Even Arcanine had struggled for centuries before advancing—

If not for Ethan.

Letting two Divine Tier Pokémon perish out of stubborn pride?

Not happening.

Ethan raised a hand.

"That's enough. We're settling this."

The storm had ceased.

The sea calmed.

And now—

All eyes turned toward him.
