Chapter 125 - A Child’s Wish

Landorus Successfully Summoned

The nameless hill on Three-Cloud Island wasn't tall.

It only took Ethan about ten minutes to reach the summit.

What surprised him—

He wasn't alone.

A boy, about eight or nine years old, stood before a weathered stone monument.

Hands clasped.

Eyes shut tight.

"Please… save my Wartortle."

"It got hurt protecting me…"

Beside him lay a badly injured Wartortle.

Its shell was cracked.

Its fluffy tail was soaked in blood.

With Ethan's experience—

If untreated, it wouldn't last long.

Maybe not even the night.

He didn't hesitate.

Using telepathy, he called over Hatterene.

"Please," Ethan said quietly.

Hatterene began using Heal Pulse repeatedly.

Again.

And again.

Until she nearly exhausted herself.

The Wartortle's condition improved—

But only slightly.

The injuries were too severe.

Ethan lowered his voice.

"I'm sorry. This is the limit of what I can do."

His team excelled at battle—

Not advanced medical recovery.

The boy didn't cry.

Instead, he nodded bravely.

"Thank you, big brother."

"If you didn't help, it would be worse."

Then he looked at the monument again.

"Let's pray together."

"Maybe Landorus is free now."

Ethan almost smiled.

He didn't truly believe it.

But he knelt beside the boy anyway.

Hands clasped.

Eyes closed.

He wouldn't crush a child's hope.

He remembered what it felt like to believe in miracles.

The Summoning

What Ethan didn't realize—

The moment he joined the prayer—

A strange force emerged from both of them.

A faint gray-white energy.

It flowed into the stone monument.

More.

And more.

The monument began glowing yellow-green.

Light intensified—

Then—

A pillar of radiance shot straight into the sky.

Across the island, people froze.

"Someone's praying at the monument!"

"Did it… work?"

"Is the legend real?!"

Residents dropped everything and ran toward the mountain.

Even Victor noticed the phenomenon.

He stared upward in disbelief.

Summoning a Pokémon?

He'd seen capture.

He'd seen hatching.

But summoning?

Never.

The Arrival

When Ethan opened his eyes—

He saw it hovering before them.

Majestic.

Commanding.

Landorus

Level: 92 — Divine Tier (Second Stage)

Type: Ground / Flying

Ability: Intimidate

Stronger than both Tornadus and Thundurus.

Its presence felt stable.

Reliable.

A complete contrast to the other two storm-brats.

"Were you the ones who summoned me?"

Its voice was deep but calm.

The boy's eyes sparkled.

"You're real!"

"Please save my Wartortle!"

Without hesitation—

Landorus landed.

Placed both hands on the earth.

Golden-brown light radiated outward.

Within seconds—

It spread across the entire island.

Plants began regrowing instantly.

Broken vegetation restored.

Green returned.

Within minutes—

The island looked untouched by disaster.

But that wasn't all.

The soil began glowing faintly.

Fresh sprouts emerged.

Then matured rapidly.

Fields revitalized.

The reconstruction process—

Instantly accelerated.

Ethan's eyes widened.

This wasn't simple environmental restoration.

This was large-scale terrestrial authority.

Landorus wasn't just healing.

It was rewriting the land's vitality.

And as the golden light slowly gathered—

It began flowing toward the Wartortle.
