<< Like An Angel - Sofiane Pamart, Nelly Furtado >>
"Uri! Why is there blood?"
"I-I don't know." Uri chewed on his bottom lip, his eyes flickering from the blood on the ground, to Kai's pale, panicked face and the ruined house - back and forth restlessly.
But Kai couldn't tear his eyes away from that dried, dark pool of what was clearly human blood.
He couldn't explain it, but something pulled at his soul relentlessly.
It repeated itself in his mind, over and over again:
'Rami. It's Rami's. I know it's Rami. He's hurt. Rami is hurt, and I was just sitting around for two days like a fucking idiot.'
He gritted his teeth and tore his eyes away.
He had to do something or he was going to crack apart at the seams.
Being still was driving him insane. If he was hurt they would take him somewhere, and where was his dad, and Aida?
