Rameses POV
"Oh..." Rami glanced down at the dagger embedded in his stomach with a startled gasp.
He was surprised at how little he felt as he clutched the hilt with his hand to stop Drefan from driving it in further.
Shouldn't it hurt?
There wasn't even much blood, just a light and gradual spread, pooling underneath his shirt.
"Rami!"
Suddenly, he was jerked away from the doorway, still clutching on to the dagger in his body, and the blunt end of Ely's axe slammed into Drefan's chest with overwhelming force, clearly weighted down by his Artifact.
Drefan's body shot across the length of their path and into the garden wall, toppling over it and momentarily disappearing behind a pile of grey stone rubble.
"Gods, Rami..." Ely dropped the axe to the floor, his hands hovering helplessly over the hilt that Rameses had clutched in his fingers, "D-don't take it out, you'll bleed out. It'll be ok, we just - we'll just go to the healers."
