"Hello, Martin. It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Jane greeted him, her tone sweet yet laced with venom.
Martin flinched violently, the pen nearly slipping from his hand as he was scrawling the final signature on Elly William's transfer documents. He turned slowly to find Jane standing there with a terrifying, triumphant smirk.
"What are you writing in such a hurry, Martin?" Without waiting for an answer, Jane snatched the signed document with a lightning-fast motion. Her eyes swept over the lines of text, and then a cynical laugh exploded from her lips.
