Chapter 24 - Sensei!

"What's wrong?" Hiruzen asked. "Do you want to ask me a question?"

"Is it okay for me to learn this precious ninjutsu, Hokage-sama?"

Even though Suzuki was helpless, he made it sound like this was the strongest jutsu, even though it wasn't.

"Yes." Hiruzen was kind and tried to teach Suzuki, or rather, he directly taught Suzuki how to use the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique, his beloved and original jutsu, which he was always proud of, despite how everyone was looking down on it.

Yes, everyone was looking down on this Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique.

Naturally, Suzuki also understood why everyone was looking down on this jutsu, despite it being known as an A-rank jutsu, which was on par with Naruto's trademark jutsu, Rasengan.

As for why, it was looked down upon; it was normal, since all this jutsu did was multiply kunai thrown by an old man.

What was so scary about it?

The kunai might appear powerful, but in the end, it was just a throwing weapon, and no matter how strong an adult's arm was, as it grew farther, its power decreased before it fell to the ground helplessly.

Even if there were hundreds of kunai, if one created a wall from earth jutsu, it couldn't penetrate it, which made it practically useless, yet somehow, Hiruzen taught him this jutsu?

What the heck was this old man thinking?

Still, strangely enough, Suzuki realised that this jutsu wasn't as bad as it seemed, especially after he got the knowledge of physics from Suzuki in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, and because of that, he also understood that this jutsu was simply the violation of the law of conservation of mass.

This jutsu was an exponential force multiplier, or rather, this jutsu was one of the most broken jutsu in the entire franchise.

In other words, it is an S-Tier Jutsu!

Why is it S-Tier?

The technique duplicates an object instantly using Chakra. The copies are real, physical, and carry the same momentum as the original.

1 Unit of Mass + Chakra could become 1,000 Units of Mass.

It effectively turns a handgun into a machine gun without needing to reload or carry extra ammo.

However, Hiruzen (The Third Hokage) used it inefficiently. He cloned steel. Steel is boring. Steel bounces off armor.

"What do you think? Can you learn it already?" Hiruzen asked expectantly, but Suzuki didn't answer; he focused, threw one shuriken, and did the hand signs. Then, twenty copies of the shuriken spread throughout the area.

"Amazing..."

Hiruzen was amazed, realizing he had understated Suzuki's talent, and that was why he liked Suzuki more. After all, Suzuki reminded him of the talented ninja who excelled in ninjutsu.

That young man with blonde hair might be good, but instead of ninjutsu, he was more into reflex, sealing technique, and all other strange things, as, despite being sunny and bright, he had a strange habit of naming his techniques with a strange name.

Yet, Suzuki was normal, or rather, he was the only sane guy in the ninja world!

While everyone was screaming their techniques and using various flashy jutsu, Suzuki was low-key, valued efficiency, and thought about business, especially since he was just an orphan from a couple of chunin commoners.

Suzuki was the norm of normal, yet somehow this didn't make him weaker than others; he had the versatility, perfect chakra control, high intelligence, and the hard work that let him realize what he envisioned.

"I am sorry, Hokage-sama. I still can't do well even though you have taught me."

Hiruzen had shown the jutsu before, and unlike Suzuki, who could only create twenty copies, Hiruzen could create thousands, making a rain of shuriken.

This jutsu might appear useless, especially for those who mastered an earth jutsu, or fast enough to run away, but even so, for those commoners and small fries, all of them would die as they were rained down by sharp shuriken.

"No, you did great!"

Hiruzen quickly told Suzuki that he had done great, considering how many people could mimic his shuriken shadow clone technique. It might appear simple, but in reality, creating shadow clones was already difficult on its own, and specifically duplicating inanimate objects was even more difficult.

However, Suzuki did it on his first try, and even if he couldn't make a thousand copies, the fact that he could use it on the first try meant he was truly talented!

This was also why a certain impulse within him suddenly reacted and said, "Suzuki-kun..."

"Yes, Hokage-sama?"

"Do you want to become my student?"

"..."

At this moment, Suzuki wasn't the only one who was dumbfounded, but all the anbu nearby, or the ninja, or also others, who observed the interaction between Hiruzen and Suzuki were dumbfounded!

Huh, really?!

Frankly, Suzuki felt that Hiruzen was a weak guy, as Hiruzen was indecisive and couldn't make a proper decision, which in turn, caused many tragedies, yet this was normal, as Hiruzen was old, and if he was to be honest, probably, Hiruzen knew that he was about to die, so he just wanted everything to be peaceful, but unfortunately, his method caused all of the troubles in Konoha.

Yet, if Suzuki were asked to become his student, would he refuse?

Obviously not.

If he became Hiruzen's student, wouldn't he gain Hiruzen's protection?

Just look at Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru. By becoming Hiruzen's student, they could do whatever they wanted to, and Suzuki knew that being Hiruzen's student was also a means of protection. As he showed his talent, he would attract attention, and becoming Hiruzen's student meant that if one wanted to antagonize him, they had to face Hiruzen.

His investments didn't go to waste, and he got the return immediately.

This ROI (Return-Of-Investment) was amazing!

Still, he couldn't accept it immediately, as he didn't want to appear manipulative or as if he had planned everything from the beginning. Instead, he had to appear to be shocked and look at Hiruzen in disbelief.

"What do you think, Suzuki-kun?" Hiruzen asked softly with a gentle smile.

"I... I... it would be my honor if I could become your student, Hokage-sama, but... is this real? Am I not dreaming?"

"Of course not, you aren't dreaming." Hiruzen's voice was still gentle, yet even so, he wanted to hear Suzuki's answer. "So, what do you think, Suzuki-kun?"

"I will do my best not to embarrass you, Hokage-sama. No, Sensei!"

"Hahaha..." Hiruzen laughed happily in the sunlight, and in his old age, he seemed to grow much younger as he had something to look forward to. "So, as my student, is there a question that you want to ask me?"

"Yes, Sensei."

"Oh? What is it?" Hiruzen looked at Suzuki curiously, wondering what kind of a question this little monster had for him.

"Is there a way for me to use all types of chakra transformation?"

Yup, Suzuki wanted to use all types of chakra natures.

---

It might be early, but let me think of your idea of the 4th Suzuki.

The first is from Naruto, the second is from JJK, and the third is from Solo Leveling.

What about the fourth?

I am thinking of either Gochuumon Wa Usagi Desuka, Gotoubun no Hanayome, Arifureta, or SAO.

What do you think about it?

Let me know what you think of the four worlds, or if you want to recommend something, please tell me.

Also, why did I choose Gochuumon Usagi Desuka?

Because, I am interested in writing a slice of life with France as the setting, especially the Colmar, and France has the 2nd largest otaku community, if I am not wrong.
