Chapter 39 - As he appears!

The flash of the camera, the cheers of excitement, and the energy that came from the intensity of his entrance, Min-Jun sighed inwardly, but he also knew that he had to pay a certain price when he gained fame, an income, and many other things.

Still—

'I'll buy a media company when I get the money.'

Min-Jun wanted to live a quiet life, so he bought one of the media companies to keep them from causing him trouble.

Regardless, he knew well that while being an S-Rank Hunter meant he was powerful and became part of the top hierarchy within this country, compared to all the dangers that he would face after this, such as Jeju Island, North Korea, and all the other things that came from the original story, he knew that he could only sigh.

The average hunter was different from Sung Jin-Woo, who could infinitely grow stronger with the help of the system.

For the 99,9999% Hunters, as long as they were awakened, the Hunters' power was set into that cap, which made them unable to grow stronger no matter what.

So what about him?

Min-Jun didn't have a system like Jin-Woo, so naturally, it was impossible for him to increase his stats, right?

This was what everyone was thinking, and many would probably think that he should try to hunt down the system first before Jin-Woo, but to be honest, he didn't really want to.

While this system was good, it also forced the user to work, like when Jin-Woo was told to run 10 km daily or complete many other quests so he could grow stronger.

If the quest from the system suddenly came when Min-Jun was on the toilet, or in the middle of his exam, or when he was with his woman, what would happen?

Also, whether he wanted to or not, in the end, he would become the Shadow Monarch, taking away what was supposed to be Sung Jin-Woo's ability.

However, this world was nothing but a jungle of competition, and those who dared to make a move were the ones who got it. Still, while the benefits of gaining the system from Jin-Woo were high, there was also a risk, since, as he wasn't Sung Jin-Woo, would the Shadow Monarch take his body and soul?

Unlike Jin-Woo, who was known as the weakest, Min-Jun had a secret he couldn't tell anyone: his ability to share his knowledge with the other him from another world, and also the "Manager."

If he took the Shadow Monarch inside him, would he be okay?

What do you think, Manager?

[Error. There is no guarantee the user will be okay.]

"..." Min-Jun.

However, the one who created the system wasn't the Shadow Monarch, but the Architect, Kandiaru, the system's moderator, and the one who wanted to rise above the Monarch and beyond with it.

Unfortunately, Kandiaru was hunted by the Shadow Monarch and likely died as a result.

Min-Jun wasn't sure, but when he thought about this, it also meant that the system had no admin, the one who was in control.

As for the Shadow Monarch, while it was powerful, it didn't mean it had full control over the system. So, instead of taking it the legal way like Jin-Woo, what if Min-Jun could hack the system, taking all the advantages without taking all the risk? Would it be possible?

What do you think, Manager?

[Report. There might be a chance, but the user needs to analyze the system once Jin-Woo gains the power.]

"...."

Was it possible?

No, Min-Jun had to make sure that everything was possible, as he knew that if he stayed as he was, he was weak. The S-Rank Hunters, while in the eyes of everyone else might appear to be those who stood at the top of the pyramid, were weak, especially when compared to the Monarchs and the Rulers, the two beings created by the Absolute Being that had been waging a war for eons.

Jin-Woo, as the protagonist, and as he had also become the Shadow Monarch, whether he wanted to or not, had to join the war.

Still, Min-Jun felt that this method was meaningless since whether it was the Rulers or the Monarchs, they weren't stupid, and instead of overpowering them so much that Jin-Woo's strength became as strong as the Absolute Being, which made the universe even more chaotic, Min-Jun felt that there should be a different method.

A method where he could stop this stupid war between the Rulers and the Monarchs of the world of Solo Leveling, who had been fighting against each other for eons, causing all the humans to be erased, killed, and had to experience the same experience again and again as the Rulers used the Cup of Reincarnation to rewind time again and again, so everything could become what they and Jin-Woo wished to be.

However, as the same method had been proving useless, Min-Jun knew that instead of using the Cup of Reincarnation to return to the past at the time when the Monarchs hadn't gained their victory, or before the war ravaged the world, there should be a better method for handling this situation.

There must be a way to stop the pointless war between the Monarchs and the Rulers, where he and those he cares about become the victims.

As Min-Jun thought so, he suddenly felt an immense pressure like a mountain, yet, despite everyone being unable to breathe, he remained calm, watching the man known as the chairman of the Korean Hunter Association.

"Kim Min-Jun, right?"

"Chairman Go." Min-Jun lightly bowed in respect to the elderly.

"You know me, Kim Min-Jun?"

"You are the hero of South Korea, after all."

Min-Jun didn't lie, as Go Gunnhee was really the hero of South Korea, and Gunhee had been fighting from his youth till today against many monsters that came from the gates and dungeons, and all other problems in South Korea.

However, this was also the reason why he didn't want to be a member of the Korean Hunter Association.

No, he didn't hate Gunhee, but he didn't want to become like Gunhee, especially when he looked at this here in Korea.

When he looked at Gunhee, he knew well this guy, who should be able to live a long life, was about to die soon, as Gunhee was forced to work by the government all the time, with a limited salary, like a dog, without any rest.

Yes, such a life was respectable and filled with honor, and even had a lot of meaning, as there were many lives that Gunhee had protected, yet Min-Jun knew well that he couldn't live such a life.

"Then, are you ready for your first test?"

"I am, Chairman Gu."

"Good, let's follow me. I will be your guide for all of your tests."

"Thank you."

"By the way, what's your class?"

"Class? If I am not wrong, then it should be an archer."

"Archer!?"

While everyone was happy, Lim Tae-Gyu, who was known as the only S-Rank Archer Hunter in South Korea, was in despair.
