Chapter 72 - Chapter 72: Demanding a Person!

Before her eyes was a Blonde Loli with a familiar face. Although everything felt incredibly real at this moment, Akatsuki still clearly knew she was dreaming.

"To be honest, I felt like you guys were about to come looking for me, but why use her appearance?"

Akatsuki had nothing to say to the expressionless Blonde Loli. Although her appearance was exactly the same as the loli in her memories, her inner essence was the genuine alaya.

alaya is generated by the subconscious desire for survival of all primates. Generally, people hope their world will extend indefinitely, so humans will procreate, defend peace, and create a better future. There might be some humans among them who complain and wish for the destruction of humanity or the world, but under normal circumstances, the wishes of such people are insignificant, so alaya basically ignores such existences.

However, someone like Akatsuki, who successfully became the earth uo after devouring Arcueid's power—the most powerful living being on this planet, an existence capable of destroying the world at any time, and also a member of the True Ancestors created by gaia—alaya had to personally step onto the field to communicate with her.

"Because it makes communication easier this way."

alaya looked at Akatsuki.

"Is that so? Then let's talk about the bargaining chips for cooperation. gaia regards humans as the cancer of the earth. If humans truly threaten Him in the future, will I help you then, or gaia?"

alaya looked at Akatsuki expressionlessly. "You will not take action to destroy humanity."

"Don't be so sure. If one day humanity truly pushes this planet to the brink of death because of their own insatiable desires, then even if I don't want to kill, I'll have to. After all, I'm too lazy to go to other planets and fight for territory with other UOs."

"I can promise to do my best to guide humanity and avoid extinction before such an extreme situation occurs."

alaya said calmly.

Akatsuki laughed. "You can't do it. After all, you are just a collective of primate consciousness. When almost all primate consciousnesses reach the same goal, the range within which you can restrain them also shrinks."

"That is where I need your help, Akatsuki. You are the earth uo, the most powerful living being on this planet. I need you to assist me in finding a way to balance the Earth and humanity together."

alaya gazed at Akatsuki.

"Are you commanding me?" Akatsuki's gaze darkened. She considered whether to infect alaya with a virus, but after just a few seconds, she dismissed the idea. "Forget it, I won't talk to you about the trivial details. I just want to know what I can get?"

"That depends on what you want."

Akatsuki thought for a moment, and finally, she nodded slowly. "I want your subordinate—Emiya—as well as the ability to observe human history anytime and anywhere, and the ability to prove all things to the world."

"I can give you the corresponding authority for the first two abilities, but the last one belongs to gaia's scope of power; you shouldn't ask me for it."

alaya replied.

"As a True Ancestor, I naturally know that's gaia's ability, but what I need is your recognition. As the planet's counter-device against humanity, I can naturally obtain gaia's permission."

Of course, gaia had no choice. If He didn't agree, Akatsuki would most likely just blow up the Earth and then use her authority from the 'real world' (self-proclaimed) to recreate a planet.

"Fine."

Seeing alaya compromise, Akatsuki didn't say anything more, just waved her hand and then vanished on the spot. alaya remained silent for a moment but eventually handed the authority over to Akatsuki.

However, just as He intended to dissolve the image of the Blonde Loli, He suddenly discovered He could no longer control that image.

The Blonde Loli slowly raised her head. Her gaze looked toward the boundless sky, crossing the obstacles of time and space, finally landing on a corner of the dream.

Gradually, expressions began to appear on her expressionless face.

"Heh..."

A laugh came from her throat. A sickly smile appeared at the corner of the Blonde Loli's mouth as she glanced at the place where Akatsuki had disappeared. "As expected of the pseudo-UO I spent so much to create. In just a few months since arriving in this timeline, she completed a task estimated to take hundreds of years."

A moment later, a Black-haired, straight-haired Loli crawled out from the Blonde Loli's shadow. She sized up the surrounding environment, looked at the unconscious Blonde Loli, and stepped directly on the Blonde Loli's face.

"How long do you plan on sleeping?"

"Hmm?"

The Blonde Loli showed a dazed expression. Her memory was still stuck at the moment before the forced correction.

"Asleep and confused? Or is your memory damaged?" The Black-haired, straight-haired Loli looked at the Blonde Loli in confusion. "I remember that technique wasn't supposed to affect memories. Did I remember it wrong?"

When the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli was creating Akatsuki's body, she had also developed a technique. As long as an existence imitating the Blonde Loli's physical body existed, no matter who the other party was, she could awaken from that body, and her awakening would then trigger the Blonde Loli's awakening.

This was less of a technique and more of a concept.

From the moment she and the Blonde Loli were corrected, she had been waiting for this day.

"Again with things I've never heard of! Just how much have you hidden from me, you jerk! Give me back all my confessions and feelings, you bastard!"

Understanding everything, the Blonde Loli immediately rushed toward the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli recklessly, and the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli had no intention of showing mercy either.

The two Little Lolis immediately started flailing their fists at each other.

The two of them were locked in a fierce struggle, trading punches and kicks.

Suddenly, the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli caught a flaw in the Blonde Loli's defense and kicked her flying.

The Blonde Loli hit a transparent wall and slid to the ground. But she quickly stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, and stared at the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli with even more ferocious eyes.

"You... you actually dared to kick me!" the Blonde Loli said through gritted teeth.

"If I didn't lie to you, how would I have known you've liked me all along~" The Black-haired, straight-haired Loli smugly groomed her nails, her eyes showing the distinct pride of a victor as she looked at the Blonde Loli.

The Blonde Loli let out a roar and lunged at the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli again. However, this time the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli was prepared; she easily sidestepped the attack and gave her a slap in passing.

"It hurts! You actually slapped me!" The Blonde Loli clutched her cheek, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Heh, let's solve the important business first."

"Wait!" The Blonde Loli grabbed the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli's sleeve. "Um, about this..."

"What is it?"

The Black-haired, straight-haired Loli looked at the Blonde Loli with some confusion.

"That... the r-reply?"

"Want to know?" A smug smile curled on the Black-haired, straight-haired Loli's lips. "I'll tell you after everything is over."
