Without a Domain to trap him, Mirai had absolutely no need to dodge. He simply let his Kamui intangibility handle it.
But he knew Todo's technique.

Forced to deactivate his Kamui to avoid killing the vessel, Mirai raised his arm to block.

A fist imbued with virtual mass was indeed terrifying. It punched straight through the roots, shattering them like glass!
But the dense layers of wood consumed her most precious resource: time.
The friction bought Mirai fractions of a second.
He even had the leisure to respond to Yuki with a faint, mocking smile.
"The plan is good, but your speed is a bit lacking."
"Yeah?!" Yuki grinned back with a sinister ferocity.
As she swung her fist, she opened her left hand, scattering a handful of long nails onto the ground right beside Mirai's feet.
The nails were imbued with Nobara Kugisaki's Cursed Energy. They had just become the precise coordinates for Todo's final relocation!

Yuki disappeared from the front and instantly appeared directly behind Mirai, completely bypassing his root defenses!
