Despite all of the alarms barring all of the thoughts in his head, Cole tried his best not to panic at all since he couldn't feel any sort of danger.
"What the hell could be going on?" Cole wondered.
He tried grabbing at anything, but he just couldn't get his hand on anything; he was surrounded by plain, unadulterated darkness.
It was so dark that Cole couldn't even see his hand placed just in front of him.
"Are we still in the same place, or have we been transported to another space?" he thought.
"Hello guys," Cole shouted, hoping to get a response from one of his friends.
He waited quietly and strained his ears hoping to hear any sort of response from any of them. But he waited in vain since he couldn't hear anything from anyone.
"It seems they aren't close to me," he said.
With nothing else to do, Cole could only wait in his position and try his best to get ready for any sign of danger.
"Why are you here?" he suddenly heard a weird, sonorous voice from all around him.
