Chapter 38 - Whirlpool Empire cap 38

Hiruzen was furious.

Danzo could see it perfectly and tried to calm his friend down.

"This is the first I've heard of this, Hiruzen."

"I'm not behind this," Danzo said as he sweated under Hiruzen's chakra pressure.

Although he didn't want to admit it, his friend was stronger than him and that bothered him.

Root conducted many investigations into bloodlines, but unfortunately for Danzo, no results were obtained.

"So who gave them these seals?" Hiruzen asked.

Hiruzen first suspected Danzo because it was his usual behavior to eliminate an enemy.

Now that the second ninja world war between the Uzumaki clan and the 3 great villages and countries has begun, it is crucial that the 3 great villages can use their Jinchuriki to have a better chance against the red-haired clan.

But since their previous invasion failed and they did not get what they wanted, they could not properly use the power of the tailed beasts at this time.

And right at this crucial moment, the 3 great villages obtained the necessary seals and it was impossible not to suspect Danzo, and that is why he called him.

But the Third Hokage knew his friend and could tell that he wasn't lying.

If Danzo didn't give these seals to the 3 great villages, then who did?

The Leaf Village wasn't the only one that knew about obtaining the seals, as someone else was spying on their movements.

"That damned Leaf Village!" The seventh elder of the Uzumaki clan died.

In a meeting room, the 10 elders of the Uzumaki clan had gathered after the tenth elder called the meeting to discuss the enemy's latest moves.

And after showing them the movements of the 3 great villages, everyone became angry upon learning that the 3 great villages would soon use the power of the tailed beasts.

Although they trust in the power of their barriers and their ability to recover after an attack, the power of a tailed beast is terrifying and will not give the barriers time to recover.

Therefore, they knew they would lose their advantage when the Jinchurikis of the 3 great villages began to act.

Of course, they were angry with the Leaf Village because only they had these seals thanks to Mito Uzumaki, Jinchuriki of the 9-tailed beast and wife of the First Hokage.

Although they also saw what happened in the Third Hokage's office, they could not believe their former allies.

All of this could be an act by the Third Hokage to shift the blame and evade responsibility after the war.

Therefore, everyone felt hatred towards the Third Hokage.

Sigh*

"The Patriarch was right"

"Everything changed with the founding of the hidden villages, and now the Leaf Village is no longer what it used to be," the fifth elder sighed and said.

Hearing that, most nodded and mocked those who criticized the patriarch's orders.

Even shortly before the invasion of the four large villages, many people in the country wanted to overturn the policy of semi-isolation and connect with the mainland.

But the patriarch always refused, causing much dissatisfaction among many high-ranking members of the country.

But since the 10 elders were the highest-ranking people in the clan and the country, they had not yet changed that policy, claiming that they held a vote and the result was a tie.

While everyone 'knew' that there were 5 elders under the patriarch's wing, no one knew the truth that all 10 elders were the patriarch's loyal subordinates.

Of course, the policy of isolation did not keep citizens trapped in the country, as anyone could leave the country and go to the continent of elemental nations.

The only catch was that no one was allowed to come back afterwards.

This meant that only a few decided to leave the island in search of new adventures, but no one else knew about them because they were forbidden to return.

The patriarch always said that he did it for the clan and that one day they would understand.

The patriarch's authoritarianism angered many and led several groups to plan a rebellion.

And before planning a rebellion, they had to gain the support of the population, and they were gradually gaining it through televisions in every home, showing many reports about the nearby continent.

Gradually, within the population, the desire grew to visit the continent of the elemental nations and leave this country that seemed like a prison to many.

Especially the young people, who benefited from the country's education and were looking for new adventures.

These rebel groups believed they were acting in the dark with the support of some of the 5 elders who openly opposed the patriarch, but they did not know that all their movements were being watched by all the elders and the patriarch himself.

Everyone knew the patriarch's plan.

Wait for these rebel groups to grow and eliminate them when the time is right.

Unfortunately for the elderly and their fun, the invasion of the 4 large villages occurred and everything came to a standstill.

The rebel groups not only lost the adventurous enthusiasm of the young population because the nearby continent wanted to massacre them.

But their spirits also suffered a severe blow when they witnessed the power of the Patriarch, and many of them halted their plans.

After all, how could they possibly face such a monster?

As most members of the rebel groups withdrew, the population began to view the mysterious patriarch of their clan with greater adoration.

Gin Uzumaki

The mysterious patriarch who hardly ever appears in public, but whose actions were all surprising.

Although the legend about increasing the size of Uzumaki Island to its current size was not believed by many, his actions closer to home ensure that Gin Uzumaki was not simple.

For example, the creation of limbs for people who lost them in an accident.

However advanced the Uzumaki clan's medicine was, they still couldn't grow a lost limb back from scratch.

But Gin Uzumaki could do it.

And he did it once a year in different hospitals across the country, to the joy and surprise of many families, winning the hearts of the country's common people.

And now that the invasion has occurred, it has been shown that the patriarch was right in saying that it is not good for the Uzumaki clan to be open to the continent of the elemental nations.

Unlike the excellent image of the continent of elemental nations in the documentaries shown on television programs, the population now clearly knew that they did not have good intentions towards them.

And with the new documentaries that the tenth elder ordered television programs to broadcast on their channels, everyone finally learned about the brutality of the ninjas and the nobility on the elemental continent.

In addition to the constant clan wars during the Warring Clans period, up to the first world war, which occurred on the continent due to hatred and lack of resources.

And the nobles of the continent were worse.

Because they abused the common population in their territories and were not punished because they had the protection of ninjas from their villages.

At this moment they finally realized that the rumors about the past being better were complete nonsense.

In the Uzumaki clan and the land of whirlpools, the only voice was that of the patriarch, and previously many voices of protest were raised against such injustice.

And now, everyone knows how lucky they are to have the patriarch as their ruler and not those useless nobles who only suck the vitality of the people and waste taxes on extravagances.

In contrast, the patriarch has led the Uzumaki clan to its current position and is hardly ever present to 'abuse' his power as many accuse him of doing.

Defeated, many voices against the patriarch fell silent, and those who led the rebel groups bowed down to wait for their opportunity.

This opportunity came at just the right time, as many members of the rebel group in the army wanted to take advantage of it to increase the reach of the Uzumaki country on the continent and make it more difficult for the patriarch to control the country.

But what they don't know is that all their movements are being watched and that their hopes of the patriarch losing control over the newly conquered territories were destined to die because the patriarch still had many loyal subordinates like the 10 elders under his command.

Therefore, it was easy for him to assign new managers to those territories while he used his time on other things.

"What did the patriarch think?" asked the fourth elder.

"The patriarch has ordered the plans to be accelerated," said the second elder, much to the confusion of the others, as it was a good opportunity to get rid of some disobedient elements in the army.
