It's been a week now since Grandma moved to our Uncle's. And I've begun talking with these voices in my mind the past few days. They can be mean sometimes but I'd rather talk to them than with my family at the moment.
I can't help myself but to get distant with my family. Don't get me wrong, I understand our situation. "Do you really?" Yes I do.I just don't get why the only solution that they see fit for our situation is to move Grandma away from us. "It's because your grandma wants to be far from you!"That can't be true!
"Maria! Come down now!" yelled Mom. "Your mother blames you." No she doesn't! I took my bag and hurriedly went down the stairs to meet Mom at the kitchen. "Hurry, you're gonna be late."
"Where's Dad?" I asked Mom, then, took the food that Mom packed for me. "He's now working part-time jobs, and soon I'll be working as well." answered Mom while cleaning the dishes. "What time will you be home later?" asked Mom. "I'm not sure."
"Whoever goes home first between you and Alice will cook dinner. I won't be able to make dinner starting tonight because we have to make ends meet."
"She just doesn't want to cook for you." It's not that! Mom will become busy with work!
"Okay. Bye."
"Is she really though?" Of course she is! We are in need of money.
"Take care, Maria."
"She doesn't care for you." Yes she does!
And I went out of our house to the garage and bicycled myself out of there. Why does it have to be this way? I could've helped with the expenses if they only allowed me to get a job. "Stupid girl, you can disobey." Okay, at least a part-time job. "Yes, go find a job." I could've… "be a prostitute." I could've… "be a drug seller." ah, forget it. I'm just gonna focus on my studies for today. "No!"
I've finally arrived at the university and my friends greeted me in the hallway. "How's your family, Maria? I heard that the oil spill hasn't been cleared." asked Hazel. "Fine. We're doing just fine." I answered with a kind of awkward smile at her. "Liar!"
"You sure?"
"Yes, Elle. I'm sure." I answered Elle with a kind of awkward smile as well.
"Liar! Liar!"
"They will hate you!"
"Hurry! We're gonna be late!" said Hazel as soon as she looked at her phone. And so we ran along the hallway to reach our classroom on time. "You are ugly when you run." You're not helping! When we finally got to take a seat, our professor came and arranged his setup.
"You can use Elementor so that whenever you use WordPress, it is much easier than using WordPress without it." said our professor while he's demonstrating how to design a webpage using WordPress in front of the class. "What is the purpose of Elementor again?" asked our classmate whom I sat next to here in the computer laboratory. "She's dumb." Stop it!
"Like you." No!
"I also don't know." I answered. "Do you really?" No.I'm not feeling sociable today. Sorry not sorry. I only want to socialize with my Grandmother right now. "Foolish girl, your grandma does not love you."
"She left you for good." Oh, shut it will you?!
After that class, we are now walking in the hallways again to go to our next class. "What happened to the powerpoint which we will report later?" asked Hazel to Elle. "I don't know, Vella still hasn't changed anything on her part." answered Elle. "Oh, that girl better get it together before we report," said Hazel. It's a group reporting — what we're doing later. I just want this day to end.
