After Yeshua's revelation to me inside the church, we are now outside towards our bikes because I got to get ready for my classes later. "Matthew," Oh, right! I forgot!
"About Matthew…"
"Yes?"
"He's a childhood friend of mine. Well, we're 6 in this friend group of ours," I told Yeshua as we rode our bikes then bicycled away from the church.
"Our-our friend group was formed because our fathers are all fishermens. E-except for Matthew though. His-his father owns the-uh… the cafe. I-I forgot how we-we became friends with-with Matt though. And-and I am the only girl in-in the friend group. It's a small town. Every-everyone knows everyone." I continued. I stutter because I'm not used to talking while riding the bike.
"Are you okay, Maria?" asked Yeshua with worry. "Ye-yes! I'm good." I replied with a smile. "How would you describe Matthew?" asked Yeshua. "He's… Matt is-is smart. He's very quick in-in calculating. And-and Matt's very-very rational yet sensitive. Given that he's good at-at math. I can definitely-uhm" I breathed in and sighed heavily.
"You're not used to talking while biking, Maria. Don't force yourself."
I shook my head. "I-I'm fine." Yeshua abruptly stopped, and so did I. Stopping, I was able to catch my breath. "Are you okay now, Maria?" asked Yeshua as He moved backwards to move closer to me while still on His bike. I nodded while I'm now looking at Him. "Much better now." I answered while smiling at Yeshua. Yeshua smiled back. "Listen."
"Maria. You don't have to change yourself as soon as possible. You don't have to force yourself."
"But Yeshua-"
"Listen."
"Transformation does not come overnight nor forced. It is changing little by little. It comes naturally, not by force. I don't want you to force yourself to change, Maria, just because the light is with you. Let it come to you naturally. Your transformation comes the longer you allow yourself to be taken care of by our Abba in heaven."
I nodded to Yeshua. "Allow the light to lead you, and the glory of Adonai shall be shown to you and through you."
"Now, what do you want to do first, Maria?" asked Yeshua with a smile. "I want to spend more time with You before I go to class, Yeshua." I answered with a smile on my face. Yeshua nodded and went towards the nearest bench beside the road and sat on the bench.
I didn't even notice that bench there. And so I followed Him then sat beside Him. Yeshua looked at me while smiling. "I would describe Matt as someone who is smart, precise, and is fast in calculating. He's rational given that he's good at math and yet he's also sensitive."
I sighed with a smile on my lips as I looked away from Yeshua. "I can definitely say to You that Matthew and I are close. Like two peas in a pod. We understand each other more than the others." I quickly looked at Yeshua and saw Him looking at me with His non-fading smile. I smiled back.
"How about the others?" asked Yeshua. Hmm…"I'll tell you about them when we see them." I answered Yeshua with a smile while He's still smiling at me.
Then I remember, I have class coming up. My smile slowly fades. "I need to get ready for class, Yeshua." I said to Yeshua with a smile that I tried to force now and yet my eyes are looking at Him glumly. I don't want this to end but I have to attend class.
