With that thought, Hiro released his Observation Haki, sweeping across the familiar land while searching for Lavinia's presence.

Inside a luxurious Western-style castle.
Lavinia sat rigidly behind an office desk.
Stacks of documents nearly half a meter high were piled to her left and right.
Leaning against a wide French window, she held a pen in each hand, signing, annotating, and issuing instructions without pause.
The processed documents floated aside on their own.
The piles beside her replenished automatically.
Not even a second of rest.
The moment Hiro noticed her, a black-haired girl wearing glasses-clearly a secretary-pushed open the door and placed another stack of files nearly thirty centimeters tall onto the pile at Lavinia's right.
Bang.
As the files hit the desk, Hiro almost felt like he could hear the sound of a certain mature woman's heart shattering.
"This scene really reminds me of Gilgamesh-the Wise King who died from overwork seven times, even using overwork as a form of rest. A true human perpetual motion machine."
Hiro commented inwardly.
Lavinia's hands paused for just a few seconds.
At the same time, another secretary near the office door, holding files, prepared to step forward.
He silently offered a moment of respect.
"I hope Mephistopheles pays you enough to make this worth it."
What should have been a simple trip to collect a reward and leave suddenly felt... heavy.
Seeing Lavinia like this, Hiro couldn't help feeling a trace of guilt.
After all, his appearance would undoubtedly add even more burden to her already overwhelming workload.
Unless-
He used [Psychological Manipulation] to alter her cognition, making her ignore both him and Grayfia entirely.
Using Shunshin as his movement method, and [Psychological Manipulation] to affect everyone except Lavinia, Hiro smoothly arrived at the door to her office with Grayfia and casually pushed it open.
Creak.
"Thanks for your hard work. Just find some space on the desk and put it down."
Without even looking up, Lavinia spoke calmly, clearly mistaking them for staff delivering documents.
Being able to treat people who added to her workload so calmly-even on the verge of death by overwork-said a lot about her composure and self-discipline.
Whether that same quality was also one of the reasons she'd ended up like this... was another matter.
After all, her superior was a devil.
"Cough. Cough."
Hiro lightly cleared his throat twice, looking at the blonde mature woman buried in paperwork.
That finally forced her to pause.
She put down both pens and looked up.
Her blue eyes fixed on Hiro, doubt flashing across her face.
Hm...
I feel like I've seen him somewhere.
That thought surfaced-
But the mountain of documents before her screamed a warning.
Hurry up and send these two away, or you'll be working overtime again today.
"I don't have much time," Lavinia said lightly after flexing her fingers.
"Who are you, and what do you want? Just say it."
"You don't have much time. That much is obvious."
Walking forward with Grayfia, Hiro glanced at the document piles, which hadn't shrunk at all-in fact, they'd grown by nearly a third.
His expression turned subtle.
Then, an idea suddenly surfaced.
"Ding! Six-Tier Luck extraction initiated. Time remaining: 32 minutes and 59 seconds.
Mission objective: Defeat Lavinia Reni."
The extraction time, once measured in more than ten hours, had now been reduced to under an hour.
The task required to shorten it, however, remained unchanged.
"The one beside me is Grayfia Lucifer, one of the current Maou of the Devil race."
Hiro continued calmly.
"I am Nanamiya Hiro. Her master."
Lucifer?
And her master?
Lavinia's pupils shrank instantly.
She looked closely at Grayfia, finally matching the maid before her with the cold, merciless female devil etched in her memories.
No matter how realistic a blood-soaked portrait of a Maid War Goddess created by a high-class devil might be, it was still different from the real Lucifer.
Not to mention-
Who would ever imagine the supreme ruler of the devils serving a human as a maid?
And doing so willingly?
Then why are they here?
Shock and confusion surged through Lavinia, but she didn't voice them.
Instead, she stood up immediately, straightened her posture, and bowed slightly toward Grayfia.
"Lady Lucifer. Greetings."
For an office worker suddenly encountering an inspection from the company's chairman without notice, this reaction wasn't excessive.
It was appropriate.
Hiro paid no attention to Lavinia's formality.
He simply smiled faintly, looked at the blonde mature woman who had just straightened up, and made a casual suggestion.
"Lavinia."
"Why don't you quit working under Mephistopheles?"
"The compensation is negotiable."
