The sun finally dipped below the ocean and the house grew quiet and warm. After their wild day at the beach, Kei and Fay were back in their room. After showering and changing clothes. Kei immediately went to the kitchen area to start on dinner.

As the pans began to sizzle, Fay slowly walked toward her.
She didn't say a word, she just stood there for a long time, watching Kei move around the stove. Fay looked hesitant, her hands twitching by her side. She wanted to be close, but she wasn't sure how.

Finally, she moved in. She slowly wrapped her arms around Kei's waist from behind, pulling her into a gentle back hug.
Fay leaned her head softly on Kei's shoulder, watching the food cook. Kei froze for a second.
•••••••••
A huge smile breaking across her face. She couldn't believe it.
(Since when did Fay become this sweet?) Kei thought.
To her, this moment felt as sweet as candy.

When dinner was ready, they sat down together. Usually, Kei was the one trying to be romantic, but tonight was different. Fay picked up a spoonful of food, blew on it to cool it down and held it out toward Kei's mouth.
Kei's eyes went wide. She was completely shocked.
• _ •
She just stared at the spoon, her mouth slightly open but not moving.
"_"
"Aren't you going to eat this or what?" Fay asked, her voice was calm.
Kei smiled and slowly moved her head forward. She took the bite, chewing slowly while looking deep into Fay's eyes with a gaze full of love.
"It's delicious," Kei whispered, still chewing.
Not wanting to be left out, Kei picked up her own fork and fed Fay in return. Fay ate it without a fight. The dinner was the sweetest, most peaceful moment they had ever shared.

After cleaning up, they headed to the large bed. Fay immediately opened her medical book to finish some reading, while Kei lay beside her, propped up on her elbow. Kei wasn't looking at a book, she was busy admiring Fay's profile with a yearning, doting look.
Then, the silence of the room was shattered.
Toooooooooooot… tooooooooot… tooooooooot.
The sound of farting echoed against the walls.
Fay stopped reading instantly.
•••••••••
Her book lowered slowly as she turned her head toward Kei. Her eyes were filled with a look of pure disgust. Kei immediately put on a face of denial, waving her hands.
"It wasn't me!" Kei squeaked.
Fay looked completely done.
"Don't lie, Kei."
Without another word, Fay grabbed Kei by the arm and started dragging her toward the door. As Kei was being pulled out, she couldn't help it she farted again with every step she took. It was a chaotic and hilarious sight.
"wait fay…"
Tooooooooot…
"it was just…."
Tooooooooot...
"just"
Tooooooooot…..
"Wait, Fay! It's an accident!"
Kei yelled as she was pushed into the hallway.
SLAM!
Fay shut the door tight. Inside the room, Kei could hear Fay frantically opening the window and spraying alcohol everywhere to clear the air, making a funny face of annoyance.
Meanwhile, Kei realized something was very wrong. Her face went pale as her stomach growled loudly. She moved with lightning speed toward the toilet, farting the whole way there.
.
.
.
A long time passed. Kei stayed in the bathroom, coming out only to run back in a few minutes later. She realized she had a serious upset stomach probably from all that saltwater they swallowed at the obstacle course.
.
.
.
Fay, who had been annoyed, started to get worried. She walked to the bathroom door and knocked.
"Kei? Why are you taking so long? Are you okay?"
Squelch, Squelch, Squelch.
The sound of upset stomach.
"I'm fine!"
Kei shouted from behind the door, but her voice sounded strained.
Fay didn't believe her for a second.
"Kei, tell me the truth."
"Okay, okay! I have an upset stomach!" Kei finally admitted, sounding defeated.
Fay's "Doctor Mode" kicked in instantly. She didn't tease her anymore. She quickly grabbed the keys and ran out to a nearby pharmacy.
.
.
A few minutes later, she returned with a bottle of medicine and a glass of water.
She waited outside the door, her expression soft and concerned. When Kei finally shuffled out, looking tired and pale, Fay was right there to hand her the medicine.
"Drink this"
Fay said firmly but gently.
"And no more racing on floating playgrounds for a while."
Kei took the medicine, looking at Fay with grateful eyes. Even when things were messy and embarrassing, Fay was still there to take care of her.
