Three days later, a courier arrived at the Citadel with two bags from Millbrook. Margaret's books, and mostly her things from the house she had lived in her entire life.
She unpacked everything calmly, and when Katya came back two hours later looking faintly overwhelmed.
"She reorganized her entire belongings on the cupboard," Katya told Lilian, with the expression of someone who had witnessed something they did not have adequate language for. "She found three outdated medication protocols and made a written list of corrections."
Katya paused. "The human doctos are now just… following her around now."
Lilian covered her mouth with her hand.
"Is that a problem?" she asked, trying not to laugh but couldn't hide it successfully.
Katya considered it carefully. "No," she said after a moment. "It is definitely not a problem."
She paused again. "Prince Dante also went to check on her an hour ago. He hasn't come back yet."
