Chapter 231 - Chapter 0231 - The Court Turns to Mockery

The Four-Eyed Fiend was stunned. What was this? Why did he even look proud of it?

Then the Fiend looked blankly at the commander again. Listen to him, he already confessed, so you should react now, right?

Instead, the commander scratched his head in distress, then said with complete respect and caution, "Since it was a prisoner you personally dealt with, then he must have done something wrong. How about this? We can find a sorcerer who understands soul-calling revival, bring the dead man back to life so he can apologize to you, and then tell him to reflect properly after he goes back down."

The Four-Eyed Fiend: "???"

Did he even hear what he was saying? At that moment, he felt he could no longer understand anything at all. Was this man not supposed to be a new prisoner who had arrived today? Looking at the scene now, anyone who did not know the Truth might think he was the commander's own father.

Then, out of the corner of one eye, the Fiend suddenly noticed a small badge on the other man's chest. Strange symbols were carved on it in Fiend writing, but he recognized the meaning at once.

"Deputy Warden."

The Four-Eyed Fiend: "??????"

He was beyond shocked. What the hell was this? Had this guy not just arrived today? How had he already become the Deputy Warden?

When he looked again at the smile on the other's face, at that calm and arrogant attitude, the Four-Eyed Fiend instantly understood what it meant. Who is kneeling below the court, and why are you accusing this official?

The Four-Eyed Fiend's eyes turned wet. All four of them did.

In the end, the Four-Eyed Fiend was dragged away screaming by the Fiend jailers who handled executions. The commander wore a broad smile and said, "My lord, please forgive the joke. He was only a clown. Please do not let that sort of person affect your mood."

"It is fine."

Yugen waved a hand generously. "Compared to that, I actually came here today for another matter."

He paused, then asked, "If I remember correctly, you are one of the elites here with Duel ability, correct?"

"Thanks to the organization's training." The Fiend commander straightened proudly. "Very good, very good. To be honest, besides the routine inspection, I came here this time with another mission as well."

Yugen clasped his hands behind his back, his tone that of a superior inspecting the area. "After evaluation, the organization believes that the garrison level at this the Bunker is rather behind compared with the other strongholds, so the main officers here need some reinforcement. Today, I happened to witness that prison break, and the Bunker's performance when facing foreign enemies was only barely acceptable."

"Although you managed to repel the rebel attack without serious danger in the end, I can see there is still a great deal of room for improvement." The commander nodded again and again. "My lord is absolutely right..."

"So, at the request of the Divine Cult, I have brought a batch of cards as reinforcement on this trip," Yugen said in a deep voice. "With this added strength, the Bunker's power and dueling momentum here should become even more secure in the future."

The commander's eyes lit up, and his heartbeat quickened. Reinforcements from Headquarters! It was said that even the trump card in the current Warden's Deck had been a gift from the Divine Cult Headquarters.

The great The God of Orichalcos had traveled through countless worlds and conquered endless Dimension, and everyone knew that the power and foundation possessed by the organization were far beyond what ordinary Spirit could imagine. Even the smallest benefit leaking through the cracks between the organization's fingers could be enough to help them enormously.

"Thank you so much!" The commander nearly dropped to the ground in worship. "I will absolutely not fail the organization's expectations!"

"Good. Then let me see your Deck first." Yugen gave a slight nod.

Without a second thought, the commander Summoned his Duel Disk, pulled out the Deck, and handed it to Yugen. Yugen took it, opened it, gave it a quick look, and then nodded lightly.

"Good. I will take it for research first. Later, I will prepare a special strengthening plan based on the traits and flaws of your Deck. Wait for further news."

"All right!"

The commander smiled from ear to ear and personally escorted the "Divine Envoy" out of the room. Even after Yugen's figure had disappeared from sight, the Fiend was still lost in his beautiful fantasy of soaring upward from this day on.

It was said that the Warden had only reached his current strength after receiving guidance from the organization. Now that he had been given a similar opportunity, did that not mean... The more he thought about it, the happier he became, until he could not help but grin and let out a bright laugh.

"Heh heh heh heh heh..."

No one knew whether the Fiend in the Bunker were all just dimwitted, or whether having a superior confiscate their Deck for "strengthening research" was simply a normal occurrence here. Either way, the whole process went even more smoothly than Yugen had expected.

He had originally assumed the Student Council might be suspected or exposed halfway through, forcing him to duel once or twice before he could finish collecting everything in this prison. But that never happened. The operation went so smoothly it was almost unbelievable, and he managed to complete the feat of collecting every Deck in the prison without playing a single duel.

Those not-so-bright Fiend still seemed firmly convinced that they would receive strengthened Deck tomorrow. What they did not know was that by tomorrow, they would never see Yugen again.

Today was the weekend, and he had spent the entire day in the dorm grinding through this dungeon. Tomorrow, he had to go back to class.

So for the Fiend, once today ended, this lord Divine Envoy might quite literally vanish from the world. He would disappear along with all of their Deck.

Now that the full collection was complete, Yugen had made a fortune from this trip and felt it was about time to head back. But as he passed a lounge in the Bunker, he unexpectedly overheard two prison guards chatting inside.

Fiend A: "This week has been exhausting. First the jailbreak, then Lord Envoy's inspection. There has really been too much going on. Tomorrow night I have to go to Phantom Capital and relax properly."

Fiend B: "Oh? You're going too? Then let's go together."

"Perfect. Come on, let's go together." Fiend A threw an arm over his shoulder. "I'm going to Blood Charm Palace and having fun until dawn."

Fiend B's expression changed. "You're actually one of the Blood Charm crowd? Why? Shadow Delight Pavilion is obviously better."

"What? Damn you, you heretic."

Just as the two Fiend were about to start fighting, Yugen walked in and cleared his throat. They both jumped in shock and quickly stood up straight.

"What were you just talking about, that Blood Charm Palace and Shadow Delight Pavilion? What's the deal?"

The two Fiend looked at each other. Then Fiend A said, "My lord, since you came from elsewhere, you may not know. The biggest city area near here is Phantom Capital, and the places we just mentioned are the most famous pleasure spots there."

"Especially the succubi at Blood Charm Palace. Their skill is incredible." As he spoke, the Fiend's face actually reddened, and his expression turned dreamy. "A person can't rest for the whole night."
