"So, this Davy Jones, is he rich?" Roger asked.
Jack: "?"

"He has ruled this sea for hundreds of years! All the treasures from shipwrecks belong to him!"
"Excellent!" Roger slapped his thigh.

Jack solemnly pushed the the heart's chest in front of Roger.
"I'm giving it to you."
"From today on, I, Jack Sparrow, will serve you!"

Jack held up a finger.
"Help me take down Davy Jones!"
Roger looked at Jack, who had a "boss, take me flying" expression, and then at the unremarkable wooden box.
He chuckled.
This truly was... a money-bringing child delivering himself to the door.
"Deal." Roger nodded.
"However, let's get one thing straight."
He cleared his throat, switching to HR mode.
"Welcome to the explorer family."
"Given that you're new, you'll start as an intern."
"Our company operates on a KPI assessment system, and your salary will be paid in copper coins."
"Room and board are included, but five insurances and one housing fund are temporarily unavailable. Bonuses will be issued at the end of the year based on performance."
Roger patted Jack's shoulder.

"Captain, can this thing be eaten? It looks quite chewy."
"Scram!" Roger kicked him away.
"I've been tolerating you for too long. Can you please separate 'holy crap' and 'captain'?"

"System!" Roger roared in his mind.
