The employees outside the door absolutely EXPLODED!
"YES! Marcus is staying!"
"Marcus is still our leader!"
"Mr. Miller is a LEGEND!"
The emotions that had been bottled up for too long finally erupted—cheers and applause rang out, and the employees excitedly surrounded Marcus, slapping him on the back, some even hugging each other in pure joy.
The entire office area filled with the kind of ecstatic relief that comes after a crisis.
Looking at this team that instantly came back to life because their leader was staying, the corners of Ethan's mouth curved with satisfaction.
THIS was the kind of cohesion he wanted!
This energy born from genuine loyalty!
He knew that this kind of team, once given the right direction and resources, would produce amazing results.
Ethan said to Diana beside him:
"Ms. Diana, I'll leave the rest to you."
Diana looked up at Ethan skeptically:
"You're gonna be a hands-off boss already? What about you?"
Ethan smiled:
"Me? I need to go write a strategic development plan that'll fully unlock this team's potential."
Diana smiled:
"That works!"
Ethan made a cheering gesture:
"You got this!"
After Marcus celebrated with the employees, he first handled the equity transfer paperwork, then began coordinating with Diana.
It wasn't until noon the next day that all the handovers were finally completed.
Diana showed excellent management and coordination skills, handling the ShareNow transition while simultaneously pushing forward registration of the new parent company "Context Technologies," and rebranding "ShareNow" as "WeConnect"—an important product line under Context Tech.
When all the handover dust settled.
Ethan summoned the entire team, including Marcus and Diana, to Marcus's original office.
Ethan stood in front of the whiteboard, turned on the projector, and displayed a carefully prepared presentation.
He didn't waste time with pleasantries and got straight to the point:
"Everyone, WeConnect's evolution path is crystal clear, and there's only one goal: SURPASS Twitter!"
His words carried powerful confidence.
First—strengthen community features:
"The existing 'Discover' and 'Recommended' feeds are way too shallow. We're introducing deep discussion forums focused on college life, relationships, interest communities... Create vertical, in-depth content hubs."
Second—improve interactive engagement:
"Adding profile visitor tracking—must be clearly visible and optimized. Group chat functionality is KEY! Group names, descriptions, avatars must be highly customizable. We want each group to feel like a small tribe with real belonging."
Third—push hard on video:
"Set up a 'Vlog Feed' section to encourage users to create and share short videos. Most importantly—we need to build a powerful user interest graph analysis system on the backend to achieve precise video recommendations based on user behavior data! Deliver content users actually WANT to see."
The last and most critical feature:
"Super Topics! This is our core weapon—'Super Topics'! It lets users gather around specific interests—celebrities, games, anime, sports... ANY vertical niche—discuss deeply, and produce content. This isn't fragmented discussion anymore—it's cohesive kingdoms of shared passion!"
As Ethan delivered his clear, powerful, and forward-thinking explanation, combined with the concise but impactful slides on the presentation, the entire team fell into shocked silence.
Programmers stared wide-eyed at the technical architecture diagrams, product managers breathed rapidly, and designers' fingers unconsciously sketched interface layouts in the air...
Marcus felt like an electric current rushing from his spine to the top of his head, like a door to a completely new world had just opened in front of him!
This vision... it was a total paradigm shift!
So advanced, so precise!
BRILLIANT!
This was their weapon to catch up with Twitter!
Marcus felt an unprecedented sense of revelation.
Diana on the side was even more impressed.
She'd used Twitter extensively, and after hearing this explanation, it felt like a complete leap ahead—so advanced.
Especially that Super Topics feature.
"Mr. Miller!"
Marcus stood up excitedly, his voice trembling slightly:
"Your plan... it's incredible! However, the massive data and real-time interaction from 'Super Topics,' plus the precision recommendation system, will put unprecedented pressure on our servers! This..."
Ethan smiled slightly, completely confident:
"The server isn't a problem. I've decided we're going full AWS services. Their elastic computing, big data platform, and content delivery network are more than enough to support our explosive growth."
Ethan knew AWS was developing rapidly and had become the industry leader—right now, the best strategy was leveraging AWS infrastructure.
"As for the company's new office space, Ms. Liu will arrange it. We're moving to a standalone building in Hudson Yards. That's where 'Context Technologies' and the new 'WeConnect' belong."
Diana had subdivided Ethan's projects into elegant organizational structures.
Marcus's eyes burned with fighting spirit:
"Don't worry, Mr. Miller! I'll immediately organize the team and work hard developing according to your vision! We're confident 'WeConnect' will become exactly what you've envisioned!"
Everything was falling into place.
Looking at the energized Marcus and the revitalized team, Ethan knew the seeds had been planted—just waiting to bloom and bear fruit.
He quietly exited the noisy but hopeful office area.
.....
Walking out of the run-down office building, the afternoon sun was a bit dazzling.
He flagged down a cab at the curb:
"Ferrari dealership on Park Avenue, please."
Less than twenty minutes.
The taxi stopped at the Ferrari showroom entrance.
"Here you go, man."
Ethan paid the fare and got out.
Ethan's eyes swept over the stunning glass facade, behind which was a gleaming showroom and that blood-pumping Prancing Horse logo.
He walked over calmly, mind made up.
On the flight to New York, he'd already formulated a clear plan: after handling the company acquisition, next step was rewarding himself.
Buy a car!
Beautiful cars—this was a yearning engraved in the bones of countless men.
Ethan was no exception.
The over $400 million in cash sitting quietly in his account was like a hot power source, urging him to release this long-suppressed desire before his upcoming college life started.
He was far from home—when else would he have this freedom?
His dad's new car? That would have to wait until fall break when he went home!
As for Bentley, Maybach—those business-oriented brands could be bought later.
But his first supercar in life had to be pure, passionate perfection!
Ferrari was the answer in his heart.
Young people should be steady as mountains when appropriate, and unapologetically bold when the moment calls for it.
Just know which occasion is which.
Many people loved Lamborghini, but he preferred Ferrari.
The brand ethos was impeccable.
The first car in your life always held tremendous significance—whether it was a luxury car or a beat-up sedan, it carried deep meaning for a guy.
If you could choose, you had to pick one you actually loved.
Anyway, it wasn't like he'd only buy one—the rest could be chosen slowly later.
Though the Ferrari showroom building was only two stories tall, it covered a massive footprint and featured huge floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls, radiating futuristic luxury and visual impact.
The interior was completely visible—sharp lines and dazzling colors quietly displayed inside, silently telling stories of speed and passion.
