Sansa's POV
"Truth or dare, Sansa?"
And the dark little smile that curled on Koa's mouth told me whatever came next was about to ruin all of us.
But not on my watch. He had another thing coming if he thought I was going to let him drive this wheel however he liked.
"It's not your turn—"
"Answer the damn question," he cut in sharply, his tone making tension snap through the air.
I almost flinched. But I remained unfazed despite the tightness in my chest.
"It's not your turn, Prince Koa," I said firmly, though I smiled.
"Whether or not you missed me during yours, you don't get to ask now until it comes back around. So sit back down and wait your turn."
For a second, his eyes flashed.
Fury wrapped neatly in amusement.
It only made me happy.
I didn't bother waiting for whatever response he might have had. Instead, I turned smoothly to the others.
"Since Prince Lucien asked me, it means it's my turn now. Seeing as I'm new to the game, I think that's only fair."
