"I'm looking for a girl who lives in this vicinity. She is about five foot six and roughly one hundred sixty-seven centimeters. She's a brunette with hazel eyes. She wears glasses, the square frames to be precise. And she had on faded blue baggy jeans with a knitted top earlier today. Have you seen her around?"
Dante gave the entire description in one breath to the first person he came across in the neighborhood listed in Victoria's file.
The woman he had stopped paused her gum-chewing and looked at him like he had grown two heads.
"You could have just shown me a picture or given me a name," she snorted.
Before Dante could do either, she waved him off.
"I know who you're talking about anyway. Only one girl walks around in knitted tops every day. You must be looking for Toria."
Dante nodded, even though he knew her as Victoria. He assumed that was what her neighbors and friends called her.
"Can you point me to her house?"
The woman eyed him wearily with clear suspicion.
