Damian's phone buzzed in his pocket while he was still standing at the edge of the oak path, Zayn's arms wrapped around him from behind, chin resting on his shoulder. The vibration felt like a jolt of electricity against his thigh. He didn't react to Zayn's presence at that moment, he was far too focused on his phone and the message that might have just entered. After hearing that Selene was sharing the videos, he was now afraid to check his notifications.
He pulled it out slowly, afraid of what he might see, and he was right to be afraid.
It was a message from Amanda, and from the look of things, it seemed she already knew what had happened, and Damian felt like his world was slowly coming to an end.
"Where are u? we need to talk. like right now."
Damian stared at the screen. His thumb hovered over the keyboard, but no reply came. He couldn't type, couldn't think. The words blurred as his pulse kicked up again.
Another buzz. A new message.
