The following week was peaceful. He took classes, showed his face at the office, and spent the rest of the day lazing around.
There was the occasional disruption to his peace that could be accredited to one person, but Reis had mostly adjusted to it.
Although the demon did try to play with his sanity constantly, he still managed to retain it. Only if the mana training didn't push him to the end of his life and back over and over.
But that was off today. Reis had taken off the bracelet for the first time. Not to escape from the training though. He had something else to do.
"Are you sure Suger won't wake up?"
"Not for another hour."
As for productivity, the human had finally picked a name for the furball. Well, it wasn't exactly 'picking'. The system kept referring to it as a nameless cat and after the eleventh time, he just got annoyed, naming it after the sugar cubes on the tea table.
A mean thing to do? Maybe. But wasn't it a sweet name?
