As Kai looked around him making sure nobody saw what to him he looked at his injuries as rain began to slowly pour down on him as the weather changed Kai sighed and saw his tattered backpack laying on the ground he walked towards it and picked it up and began looking around for a place to take cover as he did that, his eyes landed on a cave that had a dark eerie entrance Kai took his backpack and slowly walked towards the entrance as the rain poured heavily on him washing the blood off his wounded body as he entered the cave there was no light but thankfully he did not need it ever since awaking he has been able to see in the dark, Kai walked for a few hours in silence backpack in hand as there was silence in the narrow long cave as he began to wonder if he would see the end of the cave Kai saw a sillihouthe of animal in the distance a few meters away for him as he stopped dead in his track and looked at it he could see long horns, a large tail and four legs as he squinted his eyes to have a better view.
"Tsek, looks like there is one more of you creatures left."
Kai muttered these words as he looked at the lysantos a few meters away from him as he slowly walked towards it the lysantos finally saw him as it smelt the blood of it's brethren on Kai it madly charged at him unprovoked before it could even reach him two black large eyes suddenly formed behind Kai as the lysantos stared at the eyes it suddenly stopped in its tracks pupils diluted as they turned white,Plop! the lysantos fell onto the ground lifeless. Kai looked at the lifeless lysantos and sighed while muttering.
"Pathetic,truly Pathetic to think I struggled to kill your kind at first, how weak you are infront of me now."
Kai got close to the lysantos and dropped the backpack that he held on his hand as a mouth with sharp teeth and a red tongue sticking out of it slowly formed on his palm as he brought his onto the lysantos head as soon as he did that the mouth that formed onto his palm began to devour the profane monster, the sound of bones and flesh being devoured could be heard in the narrow passage as the mouth grew wider and wider as it began to devour the monster whole as the last of the monster's bone and skin entered into Kai's palm, the skin that showed his ribs sticking out off his left chest side began to rapidly heal as new skin formed covering his ribcage at the Sametime a new arm bone slowly formed along with new hand bones as these bones finished forming new shoulder muscles,hand muscles,arm muscles and forearm muscles formed while simultaneously new skin formed onto Kai's new arm after a while Kai regained his left hand arm and began to test it as he wiggled his fingers one by one after confirming that he could control his fingers, Kai formed a fist with both his hands and began to Punch at the air after a few seconds he stopped and smiled.
"Marvelous this innate ability that I have gained is truly marvelous it can be used for healing and killing how versatile."
After testing that nothing was wrong with his newly formed arm Kai picked up his backpack and walked into a large den as he reached the end of the narrow dark passage as he entered he the den he saw blue crystals illuminating the large den where a thousand holes were dug onto the walls and onto the floor as he looked around marveling at the holes on the ground and walls that had animal skin and furs in them he could hear the sound of soft low growls under the skin and fur, Kai stood before a hole crouched down and slowly lifted white thick fur off the ground as he did that he saw three small Lysantos with small black horn the size of his tumb the lysantos were as large as his forearm after looking at the sleeping lysantos in the hole Kia put the fur back onto them and began to inspect every hole after a few minutes he sighed.
" So that is why their was one lysantos left it was kept here to protect the newborns and what a great job it did,mhh i wonder if I can rear these lysantos for myself."
Kai softly spoke to himself as he looked around the den filled with newborns with excitement in his eyes as he layed eyes on as he walked closer to a hole surrounded with blue crystals and covered with skin that had a mixture of blue and white as kai crouched down and picked up the skin he smiled as he saw a white newborn lysantos in the hole as four lysantos with blue claw marks on their face huddled around it as they slept.
Oh my gosh look at how cute you are none would believe that such lovely creatures like you could devour a person in mere seconds , Kai thought to himself with a smile on his face as he looked at the creatures infront of him.
After looking at them for a few seconds Kai took out a dagger and two green glass bottles from the pouch that was hanging from his waist and slowly took the paw of the white lysantos and gently cut a small wound on it as blood slowly flowed out of the sleeping lysantos Kai brought one of the bottles under the bleeding paw and blood flowed into it after a while the blood stopped flowing out of the creature and he stood up and with a swift motion kai opened a thin long line on his left palm with his dagger as blood flowed out Kai took the bottle with the white lysantos blood and mixed his blood with it as that happend he put away his dagger as the bottle became full Kai took the bottle filled with blood dipped his tumb into it and drew a Cresent moon onto his forehead with the blood after that he drew the crescent moon on every lysantos that was in the den after doing that he drank a little bit of the blood and after that he once again went around the den feeding the sleeping lysantos the blood that was in the bottle as fed the last lysantos he took the remaining blood and drew a large crescent moon onto the ground after finishing that Kai took the opened the second green bottle and grey small moonlight fireflies flew out of the bottles and landed onto the blood crescent moon on the floor taking on it's shape as they glowed after seeing that Kai smiled and closed his eyes and prayed with his left hand on his chest and his right hand on the crescent blood moon on his forehead.
"I pray that the crescent lady may bestow upon this lowly servant of hers the blessing of soul binding as I offer these moonlight fireflies to you as tribute heavely goddess"
As Kai said these words slyly opened one eye and examined all around him but nothing happened..
Shit it seems I was not sincere enough what was I thinking I have never been a religious person but I did do everything that mother taught me on how she gained control of animals as a first tier lehem practitioner, maybe the goddess was not satisfied with the offering but moonlight fireflies are her beloved creation why wouldn't she accept as a tribute she always does maybe it because I'm not believing enough, Kai thought to himself.
As he examined the blood crescent moon filled with moonlight fireflies a bright dark grey light erupted from the fireflies as they disappeared and the blood crescent moon that was drawn on Kai's forehead and and on the lysantos turned grey as that happend the large blood red crescent moon on the ground disappeared with the fireflies after that a thin blood red string slowly came out of every lysantos forehead in the cave and flew towards Kai's head and entered into the Cresent moon drawn on his forehead after every string entered into him his eyes turned abyssal black for a second before turning back into his normal deep brown color. After the strings entered his eyes the crescent moon on his forehead and the lysantos disappeared,Kai looked around the room as the lysantos woke up from sleep and slowly walked towards Kai as the got close to him some rubbed themselves against his legs and while some jumped playfully at him.
Kai looked at all the lysantos in amazement as he smiled whit glizzining eyes as he muttered.
"My,my I have created a new family for my self. "
Kai picked up the white lysantos off the ground and brushed it's fur.
"I bet you are hungry little ones, daddy will get you nice juicy meat for you."
Kai said as he looked at the thousand newly born lysantos surrounding him. After hunting for a few hours Kai returned back to the cave dragging large ten dead deers strapped together with a blood red thick long rope after reaching the den Kai took the dead deers to a corner a began to slice one of the deer I'm half and divide the half into several thousand of small pieces that the small Lysantos could eat after doing that he took a piece ate it and fed another one to the white lysantos and to its four bodyguards as the white lysantos and it's four bodyguard became full the other began to eat.
"Mhh it seem hierachy is engraved into their blood they won't eat unless we six eat first."
Kai said as he looked at the lysantos eating the deer meat.
Now let me get some rest for a few days these deers that I have hunted will last us for a while, Kia thought to himself as he walked over at hole in the ground took the larg fur and used it as a blanket and began to sleep.
