Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2

CHAPTER 2 "Jay's Eyes Turned Red"👿🔥

It was the same day.

Lunch had just ended.

The corridors, once filled with noise and chaos, were now slowly settling as students began returning to their classrooms.

From a distance, everything looked normal.

Students walking.

Talking.

Laughing.

But if someone looked closely…

They would notice something was wrong.

Very wrong.

Some students walked with their heads lowered, their steps slow and hesitant.

Some had fear in their eyes.

Others looked anxious… restless… like they didn't want to go back at all.

A few remained seated in corners, pretending to check their phones—just to delay the moment.

As if entering the classroom meant stepping into something they feared.

The atmosphere felt… heavy.

Not loud.

Not chaotic.

But suffocating in a quiet, invisible way.

Then—

The door of Class 11 opened.

And Jay stepped inside.

His expression was calm, as always.

Unreadable.

Detached.

But the moment his eyes moved toward his seat—

He stopped.

Something inside him froze.

The girl who sat beside him…

Was standing there.

Surrounded.

Her desk was a mess.

Trash scattered over her books.

Stains on her uniform.

Crushed paper, food waste… thrown deliberately.

And around her—

Laughter.

Mocking.

Cruel.

"Look at her."

"She can't even do one simple thing right."

"Useless."

The girl didn't respond.

She didn't argue.

She didn't even look up.

Her hands trembled slightly…

But she stayed silent.

Jay watched.

Just for a few seconds.

A small spark of anger rose inside him.

But he suppressed it.

Like he always did.

He stepped forward.

Calmly.

Quietly.

"Stop."

His voice wasn't loud.

But it was firm.

"This is wrong."

For a brief moment—

Everything went silent.

Then—

Laughter exploded.

"Oh wow… we've got a hero now."

"You think you can tell us what to do?"

Jay didn't react.

He simply stood there.

And then—

One of them stepped forward.

Smirking.

Without hesitation—

He raised his hand—

And swung it toward the girl.

That moment—

Something snapped.

Jay moved.

Without thinking.

Without hesitation.

He grabbed the boy's collar—

Hard.

Even Jay himself didn't understand it.

Why did I do that?

I'm supposed to be weak…

But his body had already acted.

"Leave her."

His voice was low.

Controlled.

But heavy.

The boy glared at him.

"Or what?"

And then—

Before Jay could respond—

A bottle was lifted from behind—

And—

CRACK!

Glass shattered against his head.

For a moment—

Everything froze.

Then—

Blood.

Warm.

Slowly flowing down his forehead.

Dripping onto the floor.

Jay's grip loosened.

His vision blurred.

The world around him started spinning.

Voices became distant.

Distorted.

And then—

Darkness.

He collapsed.

The classroom burst into laughter again.

"See? That's what happens."

"Trying to act like a hero."

But—

The laughter didn't last long.

Because something changed.

Suddenly—

The atmosphere shifted.

The air became heavier.

Colder.

The noise… died.

An invisible pressure filled the room.

And then—

Fear.

Pure, unexplainable fear.

One of the boys stepped back.

"Why does it feel like this…?"

Another whispered—

"…something's wrong."

On the ground—

Jay's body twitched slightly.

Then—

His fingers moved.

Slowly…

His eyes opened.

But those weren't the same eyes anymore.

They were red.

Deep.

Cold.

Not filled with emotion—

But with something far older.

Something that didn't belong to a normal human.

A boy stumbled backward.

"His eyes…"

"They changed…"

Jay slowly stood up.

His movements were calm.

Precise.

Almost… unnatural.

No panic.

No confusion.

Just silence.

The nearest boy rushed at him in fear—

Trying to attack first.

Jay caught him.

Effortlessly.

And slammed him into the ground.

THUD!

The impact echoed through the room.

Before anyone could react—

Jay turned—

And drove his fist straight into another boy's face.

CRACK!

Blood burst from his mouth as he collapsed instantly.

Now—

Panic spread.

"Get him!"

Three boys charged together.

But within seconds—

One was thrown aside.

Another dropped with a single hit.

The third didn't even get close.

Bodies hit the floor.

One after another.

Groans.

Pain.

Fear.

And in the center of it all—

Jay stood still.

Breathing normal.

Face expressionless.

Only his eyes…

Still glowing red.

He looked at them.

Slowly.

And spoke.

"How dare you…"

His voice wasn't loud.

But it carried something terrifying.

Not anger.

Not rage.

Authority.

As if he wasn't asking—

But judging.

The entire room froze.

No one moved.

No one spoke.

And then—

Suddenly—

Jay staggered.

The red in his eyes began to fade.

His body lost balance.

And he collapsed again.

Unconscious.

Silence.

Complete silence.

For a few seconds—

No one dared to move.

Then—

Fear took over.

"Run!"

The bullies rushed out of the classroom.

Desperate.

Terrified.

The girl remained where she was.

Frozen.

Shaking.

Unable to process what had just happened.

Soon—

Teachers arrived.

The scene shocked them.

Broken desks.

Injured students.

Blood on the floor.

Jay was lifted carefully.

His parents were called.

And he was taken home.

At home—

The atmosphere was just as heavy.

Jay lay unconscious.

In another room—

His older brother stood silently.

Watching.

Thinking.

Then—

He spoke.

"You're forgetting who he was."

The words cut through the silence.

"He was never meant to stay normal."

Their parents didn't respond immediately.

But their expressions darkened.

"He's not becoming something new…"

A pause.

"…he's becoming the same again."

Silence filled the room.

And slowly—

Their parents nodded.

Because deep down—

They already knew.

Something that was once sealed…

Was beginning to wake up again.
