Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: The Passing of the Heat

The next day, Ewan woke up bright and early in the morning.

Of course, his early morning was when the sun had already risen, and Asher Ryder's spot next to him had long gone cold. When he walked into the kitchen, the fire had already been lit, the soup pot was warming on the stove, and there were a few cleanly peeled water sweet potatoes steaming profusely.

Ewan did not look for Asher Ryder, but directly scooped the soup into a bowl and ate breakfast right away. There were days at home when it would be like this. The man had to go out early in the morning, so he only needed to eat breakfast when he woke up.

Ever since Ewan mentioned the need to reclaim the land and then fell into his heat, he temporarily stopped going to the farming area. However, the newly reclaimed land could not be left desolate, so Ewan assigned the task to Asher Ryder.
