Ewan's gaze swept over the messy pile of items on the ground. Not only was there a bunch of fresh forest produce, but Asher Ryder and Wyatt had also brought back a large bundle of bamboo, its stems covered in dirt and dust. Noticing his confusion, Asher Ryder put the things down and explained: "Weren't you planning to catch fish and set crab traps? Using vines like the other day is too rudimentary, the fish and shrimp will slip right through the net. We cut some bamboo to whittle new traps. Shallow water crab traps need to be thin and tightly woven to actually catch anything."
Ewan nodded slightly in agreement. However, Simon's attention had already shifted to something else. His eyes lit up brilliantly: "So, are we going up the forest again tomorrow?" The high pitch at the end of his sentence could not hide his excitement.
