Simon took one and took a bite. The outer crust was chewy and soft, without any heavy flavor, tasting like regular dough but more refreshing. The layer of shiitake mushroom chili oil was both fragrant and mildly spicy, encasing the chewy fried mushrooms inside. Even without any meat, it was still incredibly delicious, making Simon take another bite right after the first.
"Careful, the chili oil is spicy."
Hearing that, Simon nodded. He did feel the spice kicking in, but it was too good to resist. Ewan watched him and could only shake his head with a smile. He made another roll, slightly larger, and brought it outside for Asher Ryder.
Seeing Ewan step out, the man set down the bamboo strip in his hand: "What were you cooking earlier? It smells amazing."
The aroma of the shiitake mushroom chili oil was indeed wonderful, especially right after frying. Ewan gave a bright smile. "Open your mouth, let me give you a taste of this."
