Lilly sat close to her mother, her little face filled with worry as she looked up at her. "Mother, Takoda is gone forever?" she asked quietly, still trying to understand everything that had happened.
She had come to like Takoda, her friend, but the situation surrounding their family had been far more difficult than she had expected, and now she was afraid that she might never see her again.
Sharath gently pulled her closer, wanting to ease the sadness in her daughter's heart. "We will make plans and go to the Capital City. I know they will welcome us there, so don't worry. You will see your friend again soon," she assured her, knowing that the Royal Family had been forced to leave their estate much sooner than they had originally planned.
