He reached down and gently caressed Dakota's hair, his touch completely different from the fury in his eyes. She remained asleep, unaware of the conversation taking place around her, and Kade forced himself to keep his voice low so he would not disturb her. He could not undo the years she had lost, but he could deal with the people who had contributed to her suffering.
He took out his mobile phone and called Marcus.
At the other end, Marcus was walking through one of the corridors when he felt his phone vibrate. He immediately stopped and answered the call.
"Royal Alpha."
"I want you to go to the Silver Ridge Pack and bring the Winters family here," Kade ordered.
Marcus hesitated before responding. "They have already travelled to Ashbourne City. I received the information a while ago. Maya's engagement mating ceremony is expected to take place in about three days."
A low, displeased hum left Kade's throat. "Humph."
