"Did you just say he was also the partner of Leonardo Da Vinci… the painter?" Shiro asked, leaning forward slightly. "But in history it never mentions Da Vinci fighting anyone or taking control of anything like that! So why would the Purple Dragon partner up with him?"

Rias smiled at his sharp question, her crimson hair catching the light as she tilted her head. "You're right, it doesn't sound correct at first. Most dragons are violent by nature. When they awaken, they often reshape the world through sheer destruction. But the Purple Dragon was different. He craved knowledge and unification rather than war. He was considered the most dangerous of all, not just for his raw power, but because he mastered countless spells from the old world and various gods. He partnered with humans and unified people under shared banners. No one has seen the Purple Dragon in over five hundred years…"

Shiro stared down at his food, momentarily lost in thought. So I've been given a Sacred Gear that might be just as strong, if not stronger, than Ddraig's. The realization sent a quiet thrill through him. Still, one more question burned in his mind.

"Is it considered one of the thirteen Longinus pieces?"

Rias shook her head. "That Sacred Gear… No, it's not a normal Sacred Gear like the others. Even its last owner never truly fought with it. He wasn't found until after his death. The Purple Dragon is believed to be a far more dangerous counterpart to the Red and White Dragons. No one has ever seen its true fighting potential. The only ones who might have witnessed it would be beings over two thousand years old… and even then, the Purple Dragon rarely left survivors when it fought seriously."

Shiro sat back in his chair, processing everything. More than ever, he wanted to awaken and test the Sacred Gear. But revealing something this dangerous in front of everyone right now felt reckless. After school, before heading to the Skyrim Dungeon. That's the safest time. Just in case it doesn't work properly in that world.

A soft arm brushed under his as Asia reached for his empty plate. She smiled gently when he looked over. "Are you finished, Shiro-san?" He nodded, and she quietly collected the dishes. Issei walked over to help her at the sink, the two of them working side by side.

Rias took the opportunity to slide into the seat right next to Shiro. She leaned in close, her breath warm against his ear as she whispered, "Don't worry… I won't tell the girls about what happened earlier." Her lips brushed his earlobe teasingly. Then her tone softened as she glanced at Asia and Issei happily washing dishes. "But… what are you going to do with Asia?"

Shiro smiled calmly. He had already decided to follow the story's flow as closely as possible. "Asia can live with me for the foreseeable future. I have no problem with her being here. However, if you want to ask her to join your peerage…" He met Rias's eyes seriously. "Show her that she'll be safe. That she'll be loved. Don't treat her as Asia the Nun, treat her as Asia, our new family member. Give her a real choice about her future. That's all I ask, Rias."

Rias chuckled softly, a warm sound that made her breasts press against his arm as she squeezed it between them. "She will be. Don't worry." She leaned even closer and planted a soft kiss on the side of his neck, then playfully pinched his cheek.

"Ow!"

"That's for playing around with me earlier!" she said with a mischievous grin.

Shiro looked at her, mildly pissed. "May I remind you who jumped into my bed without permission? And who took off all my clothes while deciding to cuddle me… bare?"

Rias smirked, clearly unrepentant. "Don't pretend like you didn't like it~" She moved in again, aiming for his lips this time.

Before she could close the distance, Issei suddenly appeared beside them. "Shiro-senpai…" Smoke was practically steaming from his ears, his face twisted in jealous rage. He reached up and slapped Shiro across the cheek with surprising force.

"No one can touch Rias-senpai!"

I rubbed my stinging cheek as the girls walked a few paces ahead of me. I let out a heavy, aggrieved sigh.

Who would have thought Isa had a tsundere streak in her? I thought, wincing slightly.

I glanced ahead. Isa looked over her shoulder, caught me looking, and immediately whipped her head back around, the tips of her ears burning bright red. Okay, she definitely wasn't a normal Pawn. I'd give her that.

Asia fell into step beside me, her blonde hair catching the morning sun. "So," she asked with a bright, innocent smile, "how was your morning, Shiro?"

"Interesting," I replied flatly.

I really wanted to vent. I wanted to complain about waking up to the heir of the Gremory clan casually sitting on my bed, playing stupid mind games before breakfast. But I looked at Asia's happy face and swallowed the complaints. I am not ruining this poor girl's first normal day by dragging her into my morning bullshit.

"It was good," I corrected myself, offering a small smile. "And yours?"

"It was wonderful!" Asia beamed. "The food was so delicious, and it was really nice having your puppy look after me while I slept..."

A massive sweatdrop formed on the back of my head. And here I thought she would freak out waking up next to a magical wolf, but she just thinks it's a puppy.

"I'm glad to hear that," I said.

Suddenly, Asia paused. She tilted her head to the side, her green eyes focusing entirely on my neck.

"Shiro?" she asked, blinking curiously. "What is that purple mark on your neck?"

I stopped dead in my tracks. My stomach dropped. I had completely forgotten what Rias had done right before Isa had knocked on my bedroom door this morning.

"It's... uh..." Shit. Think of something. A bug bite. A training injury. Anything!

"It's a love bite," Rias's smooth, aristocratic voice chimed in.

I whipped my head around. Rias had seamlessly dropped back to walk right beside Asia. She had a perfectly polite smile on her face, but her cyan eyes were practically dancing with devilish amusement.

"It's a mark you leave to show your deep affection for someone~," Rias explained, her tone dripping with mock innocence.

I opened my mouth to furiously deny everything, but Asia clasped her hands together, her face lighting up with absolute joy.

"Oh! Shiro has a girlfriend?" Asia gasped happily.

I literally felt like someone had just smacked me in the face with a baseball bat. I shot a lethal glare at Rias, who was just hiding her devious smirk behind her hand.

I am going to completely destroy you the next time you try your stupid 'waking up in my bed' routine, Gremory, I vowed internally.

"No, Asia," I groaned, rubbing my temples. "I don't have a girlfriend."

Asia opened her mouth to ask a follow-up question, but she didn't get the chance. We rounded the corner, and the massive, imposing front gates of Kuoh Academy came into view. Asia gasped, completely side-tracked by the sheer size of the school.
