Eris looked at Xin with a complicated expression and finally nodded.
"There's no problem with you taking a look," she said. "But how much I can explain depends on your own ability to understand."
The job transfer system was not exactly a secret in this world. In fact, it was something that had already spread across the entire planet.
Even if she wanted to hide it or prevent Xin from observing it, that would be impossible.
Since it could not be stopped, the only option was to bring them there openly.
However, "looking" was all it would be. As for deeper secrets, she would not reveal them.
After all, this system was one of the key technologies used by the heavenly realm to manage multiple worlds. In a sense, it was a form of classified resource.
"Thank you very much," Xin replied with a faint smile.
He did not intend to trick Eris into revealing confidential information about the system.
Because he already had his own way of obtaining it.
Not long after arriving in the Konosuba World, the system in his possession had already triggered a set of missions for him.
The structure of these missions was similar to the one in the Dungeon world. By killing monsters, he could earn points, and these points would unlock a world shop where he could exchange for items from the Konosuba World.
Naturally, this included the job transfer system itself.
Mission 1: Test Your Skills
Kill ten monsters.
Reward: Unlock Points Shop (Konosuba World Version)
Mission 2: Monster Nemesis
Kill monsters. Rewards are based on the strength of the target.
Reward: Corresponding points (details vary by target strength)
Mission 3: Evil Cannot Defeat Good
Eliminate forces of the Demon King's army.
Reward: Corresponding points
Mission 4: Eliminate the Evil Leader
Defeat the Demon King.
Reward: Unlock authority to exchange for the job transfer system
Although Xin had not completed any of these tasks yet, he already understood the overall structure clearly.
The job transfer system was indeed obtainable through the system exchange—however, there was a condition.
The Demon King had to be defeated first. Only after that would the authority to redeem the system be unlocked. Otherwise, no matter how many points he accumulated, it would be meaningless.
Xin did not have any objection to this.
In fact, defeating the Demon King was not particularly difficult for him.
From what he knew in the original storyline, the Demon King's abilities were more supportive in nature. He specialized in strengthening his subordinates rather than being overwhelmingly powerful himself.
Even Kazuma in the original story had been able to defeat him using explosion magic.
This alone proved that, as long as one could land a hit, the Demon King could be taken down with sufficient force.
The real difficulty was not defeating him—it was breaking through the Demon King's army and locating his position.
However, even that was not a problem for Xin. It would only take a bit of time.
Because of this, Xin was not in any hurry to visit the Adventurers' Guild just to study the job transfer system.
He already had a clear path forward. Whether he observed it now or later did not matter much.
What mattered was simply following the plan step by step.
