Next Day...

The next day arrived bright and sharp.

Krishna had sent the location pin the previous night.

Jacob arrived exactly on time.

The moment the door opened—He froze.

"...."

"Bro," Jacob whispered, stepping inside,

"your house looks like it negotiates with satellites."

The interior shimmered with soft adaptive lighting.

Wall-tabs glowed faintly. The air itself felt engineered.

Krishna stepped aside casually.

"Come in."

Behind them, the housekeeping robot rolled past with metallic politeness, carrying a tray of snacks that smelled suspiciously delicious.

Upstairs, Sara had already left for shopping with a colleague freshly returned from a long escort mission.

But not before issuing three instructions:

Feed the friend.

Don't overwork.

Be polite.

Krishna had agreed to all three with varying sincerity.

Jacob was still looking around like he'd entered a museum.

"You live here and you still go to regular classes?"

"Yes."

"That's criminal."

Krishna ignored him and gestured toward the hallway.

"Work first."

Jacob straightened instantly.

"Right."

They entered Krishna's room. As Jacob blinked.

-Blink

"Okay this is not a room. This is a command center."

Krishna tapped the wall.

"Ariel."

The cupid-like AI flickered into view.

"Opening Scene Creation Module."

The room dissolved.

White infinity. Radiant green grid.

Floating panels loaded into existence, showing character rigs, background sets, slapstick timing boards.

Jacob stopped breathing for two seconds.

"…I get to work in this?"

"Yes."

Jacob inhaled sharply.

-Sigh

"Okay. I won't mess this up."

Krishna crossed his arms calmly.

"Tom and Jerry. Season 2."

Jacob grinned like someone handed a galaxy.

"Let's go."

A floating panel displayed episode list draft.

Season 2 – 24 Episodes Planned

Krishna gestured and three titles highlighted.

Solid Serenade, Cat Fishin', Part Time Pal

Jacob leaned forward. Krishna began explaining. Solid Serenade

"Romantic setup," Krishna said. "Tom trying to impress a female cat."

Jacob nodded hearing Krishna's explination seriously.

-Nod

"Jerry interrupts?"

"Yes. But not randomly. The interruption must escalate."

Krishna pulled up a slapstick timing chart.

"First mistake most amateurs make," he said calmly, "is forcing chaos too early."

He displayed a timeline.

"Comedy breathes. First tension. Then embarrassment. Then escalation. Then collapse."

Jacob watched carefully.

"Jerry doesn't just sabotage," Krishna continued. "He plays with Tom's ego."

Jacob grinned hearing him.

-Grin

"So it's psychological slapstick."

Krishna nodded slightly.

-Nod

"...."

Cat Fishin'

Krishna shifted the background to a lakeside set.

"This is physical chaos episode."

Jacob's eyes sparkled.

"Fishing rivalry?"

"Yes. But no logic that insults the audience."

Jacob paused. Krishna clarified.

"Two types of logic."

Jacob smirked once again hearing the same explaination as back at the school.

"Emotion logic and fool logic."

Krishna gave him a faint approving look.

"Correct."

He zoomed in on a storyboard.

"If Tom fails, it must feel deserved. If Jerry wins, it must feel clever."

Part Time Pal

Krishna displayed the third panel.

"This one is about illusion of friendship."

Jacob blinked.

"Tom and Jerry… friends?"

"Temporarily."

Krishna showed a potion effect storyboard.

"Tom behaves friendly under influence. But underlying rivalry remains."

Jacob nodded slowly.

-Nod

"So emotional confusion but not betrayal."

"Exactly."

Krishna turned toward Jacob fully.

"I'm hiring a few more students from filmmaking class. You'll help coordinate storyboard sequencing and gag pacing."

Jacob swallowed.

"Me?"

"Yes."

Jacob's posture straightened instantly.

"I won't disappoint."

Krishna walked toward the floating timeline grid.

"I'll supervise. When mistakes happen—"

Jacob cut in nervously.

"You'll fix them?"

Krishna shook his head slightly.

"I'll guide. You fix."

Jacob grinned already excited about him being part of Tom and Jerry.

"Deal."

The Entertainment System appeared silently behind them wearing a referee shirt.

[-POP!!!]

[Remember,] it declared theatrically,

[slapstick is a sacred science. Respect the banana peel.]

After Few Weeks...

For the next few weeks, routine formed its own rhythm.

School. Combat drills. Strategy lectures. Filmmaking theory.

And after that—

VR meeting room...

Krishna and Jacob would log in through their i-bracelets, the virtual studio forming around them like a white cathedral of grids and floating panels.

Only Jacob could see the module interfaces and holographic boards.

Only Krishna could see—The Entertainment System who was annoying him.

Perched upside down. Judging silently.

Occasionally miming dramatic slow claps that no one else could hear.

Krishna kept a straight face.

Meanwhile, the hiring notice had closed.

Five slots. Over sixty applicants.

After multiple interviews, test gag boards, and short storyboard tasks—

Five were selected.

1. Boruun Kessel

A broad, heavy-set student with flappy, sail-like ears that twitched when he concentrated.

He had four muscular arms, each surprisingly precise in motion.

Species: Gravellian hybrid.

Specialty: Background structure and prop animation physics.

Boruun had an unusual talent for environmental comedy.

When asked to animate a falling ladder, he turned it into a domino-chain gag involving buckets, pipes, and a rolling barrel that somehow made sense which he said he got inspiration form Tom And Jerry.

He sweated when nervous.

He sweated a lot.

But his timing instincts were solid.

Jacob immediately liked him.

2. Nerix Vaal

Looked almost entirely human.

Except for the long, flexible tongue that occasionally flicked out when he was deep in thought.

His mother was from a serpentine alien lineage, though Nerix inherited only subtle traits.

Species: Half-Seraphid.

Specialty: Facial expression micro-animation.

He could adjust eye squints and mouth curves by microscopic degrees.

His slapstick strength wasn't big impact gags—it was subtle reaction shots.

When Tom realized he was about to fall.

When Jerry noticed an opportunity.

Nerix made those frames breathe after hearing Krishna's explination.

3. Lumo Threx

His head wasn't a skull.

It was a transparent spherical tank.

Inside floated a small bioluminescent fish that functioned as his brain core.

The fish shifted colors based on mood.

Species: Aquarian Synth-Symbiotic.

Specialty: Motion flow and fluid animation.

Lumo understood movement like water. His chase sequences were smooth, elastic, beautiful.

When given a basic "Tom slips" storyboard, he layered in environmental bounce and rebound arcs that made the fall feel satisfying rather than stiff.

The fish glowed brighter when excited.

It glowed constantly during slapstick discussions.

4. Yara Solen

Yellow skin with warm undertones, brown hair tied into a practical high knot.

Calm eyes. Sharp thinker.

Species: Solar-descended human variant.

Specialty: Script logic and comedic pacing review.

Yara was the one who caught inconsistencies.

"If Jerry can reach the shelf that easily, why didn't he do that earlier?"

"If Tom learns nothing here, is the escalation justified?"

She didn't laugh loudly. She smiled quietly.

But when she approved a gag, it meant something.

5. Kaelith Vireen

Tall. Pink skin.

Four eyes arranged symmetrically—two primary, two slightly smaller above.

Four arms, long and elegant.

Species: Vireenian.

Specialty: Multi-layered animation layering and parallel action.

Kaelith could animate two simultaneous gag sequences in the same frame without cluttering visual focus.

While Tom struggled with one trap, Jerry could be setting another in the background.

Her spatial awareness was terrifyingly good.

She rarely blinked all four eyes at once.

It unsettled Boruun slightly.

The first full-team VR session felt different.

Jacob stood beside Krishna in the virtual studio.

Boruun adjusted prop physics panels.

Nerix zoomed into Tom's facial rig.

Lumo floated slightly off the ground as his fish-brain glowed soft blue.

Yara folded her arms, reviewing gag structure.

Kaelith extended two hands to adjust background layers while the other two hovered over character timing.

Krishna observed. Guided. Corrected.

"Delay the impact by three frames," he said calmly at one point.

"Jerry's reaction comes before Tom's fall."

"Don't rush the setup."

Jacob nodded, taking notes.

-Nod

The Entertainment System leaned against an invisible wall, whispering commentary only Krishna could hear.

[Ah yes,] it said theatrically. [You are now a commander of chaos.]

Krishna ignored it.

Solid Serenade boards began taking shape.

Tom tuning a string instrument.

Jerry interfering with resonance.

Escalation sequence mapping cleanly.

Mistakes happened.

Boruun once made a prop fall too early.

Nerix overdid an eyebrow twitch.

Lumo's bounce arc got too exaggerated.

Krishna corrected without scolding.

"Slapstick," he reminded them, "must feel earned."

Yara nodded approvingly.

Kaelith adjusted timing precisely.

Weeks passed like this.

After school. VR sessions. Refinement.

Season 2 wasn't just being made.

It was being engineered.

And this time—It wasn't a solo act.

It was a small war council of absurdity.

Somewhere in the galaxy—

Children still chanted frog lyrics.

But soon—

They would hear the familiar crash of a vase.

The squeak of a mouse.

And the scream of a cat who never learned.

Season 2 was breathing.

Meanwhile—

The galaxy had a problem.

It was green. It wore goggles. And it would not leave.

Across systems, stations, cities, asteroid belts—

Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding.

It slipped into daily life like an uninvited but oddly charming guest.

Verdantis-9...

Agricultural Fields...

A towering one-eyed farmer adjusted irrigation flow valves.

Under his breath—

"…wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow."

He paused. Looked around. No one.

He continued working.

Five seconds later—

"Bim-bim-bim-bim-bim-bim…"

His little brother, driving a hover-plough nearby, shouted.

"STOP HUMMING IT!"

"I'M NOT HUMMING IT!"

They both were.

Orbital Trade Station...

Docking Bay 44...

A cargo supervisor barked instructions.

"Load Sector C-9—"

The rhythm of hydraulic lifts matched the beat.

Clank. Whirr. Click.

"…ding-ding-ding…"

He froze mid-sentence.

"Who's playing it?!"

No one answered.

Half the workers were tapping tools subconsciously.

Helios Vanguard Academy...

Between classes, students walked corridors. Some pretended indifference. Some looped the music in one earbud.

A group passed Jacob.

One of them nodded solemnly.

-Nod

"Ring-ding?"

Jacob, without thinking.

"Ding-ding."

They both burst out laughing.

Astraea Prime...

Commercial District...

A clothing store hologram glitched briefly.

For half a second—

A frog silhouette bounced across the ad screen before reverting to perfume marketing.

Customers stared.

"…Did you see that?"

"Yes."

They bought something anyway.

UniNet Streams...

Reaction clips multiplied. Remixes. Slow reverb edits.

Hardcore bass boosted versions.

A violin cover. A solemn orchestral parody.

One streamer attempted to analyze it like classical composition.

"Notice the repetition structure. It's almost ritualistic—"

[Chat:]

[💬 User: StopOverthinkingIt: It's frog.]

Corporate Offices...

A middle-aged executive in a glass tower tried to concentrate on quarterly projections.

He adjusted his glasses.

Silence.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Then—Very softly—

"…wa-pa-pa-pa-pa…"

He slammed his desk.

"Disable external audio feeds!"

His assistant blinked.

"Sir, there are none."

The frog was inside his head.

Gaming Hubs...

Players replaced victory sound effects with frog snippets.

In competitive matches, losing players taunted winners by blasting:

"Ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding!"

Rage levels increased. Enjoyment levels increased more.

Royal Residences...

Even in palaces—

Even among dignified royalty—

Someone accidentally let it slip.

Azazel Ameri caught herself humming it while reviewing acting notes. She froze.

"…No."

Too late. It was catchy.

The rhythm inside Star Entertainment had stabilized.

VR sessions ran smoother now.

Boruun no longer panicked when props clipped through walls.

Nerix's reaction shots landed cleaner.

Lumo's fish-brain glowed a confident emerald instead of anxious blue.

Yara's script notes reduced from red warnings to subtle tweaks.

Kaelith's layered gags felt seamless.

Season 2 was no longer fragile.

It was moving.

Krishna stood at the threshold of the VR office space he had built for Star Entertainment—a polished digital lobby overlooking a simulated skyline with floating studio logos.

He was about to step in—

When Ariel flickered into view, wings slightly tilted.

[Young master.]

Krishna paused hearing Ariel.

[There is a formal meeting proposal.]

"From?" he asked calmly.

A holographic emblem appeared mid-air.

Feathered crest. Metallic nest motif. Text scrolled beneath it.

AetherNest Toy Consortium

Krishna's eyes sharpened slightly.

"...."

"Details."

Ariel expanded the message.

[Official Audience Request]

[Purpose: Business Proposal]

[Statement: A partnership opportunity that will generate substantial profit and mutual brand expansion.]

The Entertainment System appeared over Krishna's shoulder, peering at the logo.

[-POP!!!]

[Oho,] it murmured theatrically. [Merchandising.]

Krishna didn't respond immediately.

Toy consortium. Character-based assets.

Tom and Jerry were already iconic.

The frog had become a cultural infection even through its been several weeks since released.

And AetherNest—

One of Astraea Prime's oldest toy empires. Ariel continued.

[They have requested a formal in-person meeting. They emphasize urgency.]

Krishna exhaled slowly. He wasn't naive.

-Sigh

"...."

Toy rights meant:

• Licensing

• Character control

• Long-term brand identity

• Revenue streams beyond streaming and theaters

It also meant—Potential dilution.

He turned slightly, thinking.

In another part of the galaxy, a six-hundred-year-old executive had likely already studied his numbers.

The Entertainment System adjusted imaginary spectacles.

[They smell plush profit,] it whispered.

Krishna finally nodded.

"When?"

[They are flexible,] Ariel replied. [They request your availability.]

Krishna glanced toward the VR office doors where his team would soon assemble.

Season 2 was stabilizing. Momentum was strong.

He could negotiate from strength.

"Reply," he said calmly. "We accept a preliminary discussion. Neutral terms. No commitments."

Ariel nodded and transmitted the response.

[-NOD!]

The Entertainment System grinned widely.

[...]

[-GRIN!]

Krishna stepped into the VR office. The digital doors closed behind him.

Season 2 timelines floated in mid-air.

A toy empire wanted in. The frog was echoing across galaxies.

Theaters were preparing for premieres.

The cat and mouse were sharpening claws.

And now—Physical merchandise had entered the board.
