"Next, we must discuss Mr. Satan."
The narrator's voice shifted, and across the Wanjie Multiverse, countless viewers leaned in, many still wearing expressions of pure disgust. They hadn't forgotten the "World Champion's" clownish antics before, during, and after the Cell Games.
To most, his decision to steal the credit for Gohan's victory was the ultimate act of shamelessness. Goku had sacrificed his life, and Gohan had shouldered the fate of the world, yet this man—who had spent the battle shivering in the dirt—was taking the glory.
"I've called him a clown," the narrator continued, "but I also said he is worthy of the title of Hero. To understand why, we look at the pivotal moment of the battle."
Confusion rippled through the audience. Even Mr. Satan, watching from his luxurious mansion, scratched his head. Was there something he did that wasn't a total embarrassment?
"Why was Gohan able to ascend to Super Saiyan 2?" the narrator asked. "It was the death of Android 16 that acted as the fuse for his rage. But how did 16's severed head reach Gohan in the first place? It was Mr. Satan who threw it.
While the world's strongest warriors hesitated, an ordinary man with no Ki and no special powers braved the shockwaves and the gaze of a monster like Cell to deliver that final message. If he had been caught, he would have died instantly. In that moment, he showed more courage than any 'collateral damage human' ever could. He stepped up when it mattered most."
A heavy silence fell over the dimensions. The viewers who had just been mocking him now felt a sting of realization. As Akira, the transmigrator, noted mentally: Power scaling isn't just about Ki levels; it's about the resolve to act when you're the weakest person in the room.
For an ordinary human, facing Perfect Cell was a feat of bravey that rivaled the Saiyans' battles. This was why, despite his flaws, Mr. Satan remained a beloved figure among those who knew his heart—he was a devoted father to Videl and a man who, despite his fear, never truly ran when the world was on the line.
"However," the narrator's tone brightened, "the birth of Super Saiyan 2 is thanks to two beings. The first is Cell. The second is Vegeta—for without his arrogance, Cell would never have reached his Perfect Form. And in the process, Vegeta gifted us a 'World-Famous Painting.'"
The screen flickered to a close-up of Vegeta, a smug grin on his face, pointing his right thumb firmly at his own chest. "I am Super Vegeta!" "Why is this a famous painting? Because every time Vegeta makes this gesture, he gets 'Super-ed'—beaten into the dirt.
This thumb-point has become known across the multiverse as the 'Setback Gesture' or the 'Causality Curse.' Aside from one man whose face is practically inscribed with the word 'Invincible,' anyone who uses this gesture is destined for immediate failure."
The reactions were instantaneous.
"I remember!" Zhang Chulan shouted. "Frieza did that against Super Saiyan Goku right before he got dismantled!"
"And Android 17," Sengoku added, rubbing his temples. "He pointed to himself against Cell, and moments later, he was absorbed."
Krillin chimed in, wide-eyed. "Wait, Goku did that against Raditz too! And he ended up facedown in the grass!"
In the Ninja World, Kakashi sighed. "It seems the universe has a sense of irony. Point to yourself, and the universe points you to the floor."
Uzumaki Naruto scratched his head. "So who's the guy who can actually use it? The 'Invincible' one?"
Duanmu Yan gripped his Armor Summoner tightly. "Note to self: Never, under any circumstances, use the thumb-point. If I suffer a setback, the Earth is finished."
Vegeta and Frieza, watching from their respective corners of space, felt a cold sweat. They hadn't realized their own body language was a death sentence. In their minds, they were already resolving to keep their thumbs far away from their chests in future encounters.
"Finally," the narrator concluded, "we must address the raw power of the transformation. Like the initial Super Saiyan form, Super Saiyan 2 is a multiplier that shatters the limits of the body."
The screen displayed a diagram of Ki output, showing the staggering climb from the base form.
"If Super Saiyan is a fifty-fold increase, then Super Saiyan 2 is a doubling of that power. We are talking about a strength exactly 100% greater than the first stage—effectively 100 times the user's base power level. It is the peak of Saiyan evolution in this era, a golden standard that turns a child into a god-slayer."
The sheer scale of the power left the viewers breathless. A hundredfold increase. It wasn't just energy; it was a fundamental shift in the hierarchy of the multiverse.
