"Everyone still remembers the high-class scene when Supreme Kai first appeared, right?" Akira's voice drifted through the void, carry a smooth, analytical edge. "It's only natural for a Supreme Kai to possess such a prestigious presence. But hold on to that thought—because next, you will witness his other... 'high-class' scenes."
The audience across the dimensions paused, their expressions turning sheepish. There was no mistaking the shift in Akira's tone; the last sentence was dripping with a dry, tactical sarcasm.
Duanmu Yan frowned, looking at the screen. "Is it my imagination? Why do I feel like the narrator is mocking him?"
"It's not your imagination," Li Xinnan replied, his eyes narrowing. "I heard it too. The tone was biting."
Zhang Chulan chuckled, leaning back. "So, the Supreme Kai is going to have a lot of embarrassing moments later? Talk about a fall from grace."
The elderly Zhang Zhiwei shook his head. "Not later. It's happening right now. Just listen to the way he talks about un-petrifying Krillin and Piccolo. He's already given up."
Kakashi leaned against a wall, his visible eye scanning the battlefield. "Indeed. In his mind, killing Dabura is an impossible feat. Because he believes it can't be done, he's already mourning Krillin and Piccolo as if they're dead. This Dabura might be the Demon King, but Shin is a Supreme Kai—why is he so terrified of a local ruler?"
Monkey D. Garp let out a boisterous laugh. "And he thinks Goku and the others stand no chance! I've seen those boys grow; I don't think Dabura is going to have a very good day."
The sentiment echoed throughout the multiverse. While the title "Demon King of the Dark Demon Realm" sounded formidable, the viewers had watched the Z Fighters transcend their limits time and again. They didn't share the Kai's fatalism.
In Universe 6, Champa doubled over, pointing a finger at the screen. "Hahahaha! Beerus, look at this! Your Universe 7 Supreme Kai is a total coward! He's so weak he let four of his predecessors get slaughtered by Majin Buu, and now he's shaking in his boots!"
Beerus sat on his throne, his eye twitching with irritation. "You fatso, shut it! It's not like your Universe 6 Supreme Kai is some paragon of strength."
Despite his retort, Beerus was fuming. Shin's performance was a stain on Universe 7's reputation. He had been satisfied with the Kai's initial mysterious aura, but seeing it crumble so spectacularly was painful. According to Akira, this was only the beginning of the embarrassment.
Deep within the Kaioshin Realm, Shin himself was bristling. "That's Dabura! The King of the Dark Demon Realm!" he muttered, feeling the sting of the comments. "It's normal to be cautious! These mortals don't understand the sheer scale of his power. Once they see him in action, they'll understand why I'm worried!"
But the video told a different story.
Back on screen, after hearing Shin's "impossible" condition for saving their friends, Son Goku blinked. "What? Is that all? That's a pretty simple method."
The Supreme Kai froze, his jaw dropping. He had presented the task as an insurmountable mountain, only for Goku to treat it like a minor chore. Without waiting for the Kai's permission, Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan took flight, heading straight for Babidi's spaceship.
"Wait! Don't be impulsive!" Shin shouted, trailing after them in a panic. "Once you enter that ship, you won't be able to get out easily!"
The Saiyans ignored him. Upon entering the structure, Shin explained that the ship was designed in stages; they would have to fight their way down, layer by layer, defeating Babidi's champions to reach the wizard himself.
Vegeta scoffed, his arms crossed. "Why bother? I can just blow the whole ship to kingdom come from right here."
"Never!" Shin shrieked. "Any violent impact could cause Majin Buu to awaken prematurely! We must be surgical."
As they reached the first level, Pui Pui stepped forward, a smug grin on his face. Simultaneously, the screen shifted to Babidi, who was busily injecting the stolen Ki from Spopovich and Yamu into a massive, pulsating egg. The meter on his wall climbed steadily, reaching the halfway mark.
"Gohan's energy alone filled half the requirement," Akira noted. "Babidi only needs to provoke these new arrivals. If any of them are wounded, the energy released from their injuries will be siphoned directly into the seal to revive Majin Buu."
Babidi peered through his crystal ball, expecting to see the intruders trembling. Instead, he saw something that left him—and the Supreme Kai—utterly baffled. Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta were huddled in a circle, playing rock-paper-scissors.
They were gambling to decide the turn order. Vegeta won first, followed by Goku, leaving Gohan for last.
"You're going to fight alone?" Shin stammered, his face pale. "Babidi has scoured the universe for the strongest warriors! You should all go together to ensure victory!"
Goku just gave a thumbs-up. "Vegeta's got this. One is plenty."
Shin didn't believe it—until the fight began. Vegeta didn't just fight Pui Pui; he dismantled him. Realizing his subordinate was outclassed, Babidi used his magic to warp the room's environment, transporting them to Pui Pui's home world.
The scenery shifted to a harsh, rocky planet. "This is a high-gravity world," Akira explained. "The gravity here is ten times that of Earth. To Babidi and Pui Pui, this was a death trap for any Earthling."
Shin panicked again, urging Goku and Gohan to jump in. "Vegeta can't move in this! Help him!"
Goku didn't even look back. "Just shut up and watch, Kai. You're worrying about nothing."
Vegeta stood in the crushing gravity, looking entirely unimpressed. "Ten times gravity? Is this a joke?" Pui Pui lunged, convinced the Saiyan was bluffing, only to be met with a brutal counter-attack. Vegeta moved as if he were standing in a summer breeze. Within moments, Pui Pui was obliterated, not leaving a single scratch on the Prince of Saiyans.
"Vegeta's reaction was justified," Akira's voice returned, carrying a hint of amusement. "The Saiyan homeworld, Planet Vegeta, already possessed ten times Earth's gravity. Vegeta was born and raised in this environment. For the man standing there now, ten times gravity isn't a challenge—it's a light warm-up. He regularly trains in hundreds, even thousands of times Earth's gravity."
