"The battle between Vegeta and Pui Pui was yet another display of the Supreme Kai's 'high-class' demeanor," Akira's voice cut through the tension, sounding more like a tactical analyst than a simple narrator. "He used his own limited perspective to judge Son Goku and the others. Because he personally viewed Pui Pui as a threat, he demanded that three universal-tier warriors team up against a single fly."
The sarcasm in Akira's voice was palpable now. "The dignified Supreme Kai, trembling before a weakling that could be erased with a flick of a wristāit truly is a sight to behold. I'm beginning to suspect that his boast about defeating Frieza with a single finger was just a desperate attempt to maintain his image.
Perhaps the only reason he survived Majin Buu eons ago was that he was simply too insignificant to be noticed. And don't worry, this isn't the last 'high-class' blunder we'll see; there's more on the way."
In the Kaioshin Realm, Shin's face flushed a deep shade of purple. He wasn't trying to lose faceāhe was terrified! "Let me clarify!" he typed frantically into the dimensional barrage. "My actions in the video were entirely to prevent Majin Buu's revival! If Goku or the others had their Ki siphoned by a single stray hit, the seal would break. You don't know the horror of Majin Buu! My caution was completely justified!"
Vegeta's response appeared almost instantly, sharp and biting. "Supreme Kai, we certainly don't know how terrifying Majin Buu is. But you, in that video, clearly have no idea how terrifying we are. Asking the three of us to gank a piece of trash like Pui Pui? That's not cautionāthat's an insult."
Vegeta was fuming. To him, the Kai's suggestion wasn't just strategic; it was a blow to his Saiyan pride. He was the Prince of all Saiyans, a warrior who had transcended the limits of gods, and this "deity" thought he needed help to squash a bug? It was absurd.
The sentiment spread. Even strategic minds from other worlds weighed in.
"I have to agree with Vegeta," Sengoku of the Marines noted. "Majin Buu may be a disaster, but Supreme Kai, you and Kibito investigated these men. You knew they could transform into Super Saiyans. To still lack faith in them at that level is... unreasonable."
Garp barked a laugh. "It's one thing to worry about the Demon King Dabura or the monster Buu. But Pui Pui? The first guard on the list? Asking them to all jump in at once was just embarrassing, Kai. You really have no sense of scale."
The audience nodded in unison. The consensus was clear: Shin had been so traumatized by the ancient war with Buu that he had lost the ability to judge strength accurately. To him, anything associated with Babidi was a nightmare; to the Saiyans, it was just Tuesday.
Zhang Chulan poked further. "Supreme Kai, the version of you in the video was ignorant. But what about you now? You've seen the archives. You've watched Goku's growth. Do you still distrust them?"
"The 'me' of now wouldn't doubt them against Babidi's lackeys," Shin replied, trying to save some shred of dignity. "But against Majin Buu? I maintain my stance. I don't care if they reach Super Saiyan 3; I don't believe they can win without a transformation, and even then, it's doubtful."
Shin kept his deepest fears to himself this time, sensing that if he voiced his belief that even Super Saiyan 3 would fail, the multiverse would just laugh at him again.
Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tail world, the mages were focused on a different threat. "The strongest mage in the universe... even stronger than Zeref," Makarov whispered. To a world built on magic, Babidi was a terrifying prospect. His ability to dominate the hearts of others surpassed anything they had ever seen. Yet, in the Dragon Ball world, this "supreme wizard" seemed like a footnote compared to the raw, crushing Ki of the warriors.
Back in the video, the dust had settled from Pui Pui's erasure. Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta stood in the staging room, waiting for the elevator to take them deeper into the abyss.
Vegeta paced, his patience wearing thin. "This is a waste of time. I'm going to blow this tin can to pieces and drag Babidi out by his ears."
"Stop!" Shin blocked his path, his hands shaking. "The shockwave alone could trigger the seal! We have to follow the rules of the ship!"
Vegeta looked down at the Kai with cold, bored eyes. "You think this Buu is some invincible god. To us, he's just another wall to break. Just like Daburaāas long as we don't let him spit on us, he's nothing. Your 'demon kings' and 'ancient evils' don't scare us, Kai. They should be scared of us."
The sheer confidence in Vegeta's voice left the Supreme Kai speechless, his entire understanding of the universe's power hierarchy beginning to crumble.
