Seeing himself possessed, Vegeta's expression turned incredibly grim. Even if it was a version of him from another timeline, seeing his own pride trampled and his body hijacked by a parasitic entity was a bitter pill to swallow. He had never even heard of these Tuffles.
He knew that Planet Vegeta was not the Saiyans' original home; that was a world called Planet Sadala. Yet, whether it was Vegeta or Sadala, there was no record of a race called the Tuffles in his history. It seemed the Tufflesâand the Saiyans' subsequent extermination of themâwere events unique to this "GT timeline."
Vegeta's mind raced with tactical caution. If the Tuffles were weak enough to be wiped out, yet their survivors could evolve into something capable of possessing a high-level Saiyan warrior, what about the other races the Saiyans had conquered? In his own timeline, were there vengeful survivors lurking in the shadows, waiting to reach a power level equivalent to this Baby?
If Akira knew what Vegeta was thinking, he would have given a simple, chilling answer: "Yes."
Sengoku: "So, this Baby... he's actually more dangerous than Majin Buu? That possession ability is revolting. To control someone even after leaving their body... it's a nightmare for any military commander."
Garp: "The real problem is the lineup. Vegeta and Gohan are already under his thumb. If Son Goku returns to Earth without knowing the situation, he's walking straight into a firing squad of his own family."
Kurosaki Ichigo: "This feels eerily like the Cell files. Baby in that nutrient tank... it's the same vibe. And that Dr. Myuu? He's the spitting image of Dr. Gero."
Duanmu Yan: "I'm noticing a pattern. Anyone with 'Doctor' in their title is either a genius or a complete psychopath looking to ruin the world."
Across the Wanjie Multiverse, countless viewers who had suffered under the whims of mad scientists nodded in silent, painful agreement.
Krillin: "It looks like our counterparts are completely compromised. At least Goku is still free. If he falls, it really is game over for that universe."
Yamcha: "The issue is Goku's soft spot. We can't hurt him, but Gohan and Vegeta have the Ki to do it. If Baby uses them as shields or decoys, Goku might hesitate."
Tien Shinhan: "Goku has a warrior's instinct, but this is a betrayal from the inside. I hope he notices the shift in their Ki before it's too late."
The Z Fighters watched the screen with bated breath. In the video, Goku and his teamâoblivious to the corruption on Earthâcollected the final Black Star Dragon Balls and returned home. They handed the orbs to Dende, but as they walked away, the camera lingered. Dende and Mr. Popo's eyes flashed a sinister, glowing red. Even the Watchers of Earth had fallen.
The tragedy unfolded quickly. Trunks was the first to be fully integrated into Baby's hive mind. When Goku and Pan finally realized the horror, it was too late. Goku was forced to battle his own sons; even as a Super Saiyan 3, he found himself overwhelmed when the Baby-possessed Vegeta joined the fray.
Hit by a devastating Revenge Death Ball, Goku was blasted into a different dimension, only to be rescued by the Supreme Kai and taken to the Sacred World of the Kai. Meanwhile, Baby used the Black Star Dragon Balls to wish for the restoration of Planet Tuffle near Earth.
To counter this God-tier threat, Old Kai proposed a desperate, ancient solution: the regrowing of Goku's tail. He claimed the tail was the key to unlocking a Saiyan's true latent potential. After an agonizing and frankly bizarre process involving giant pliers, Goku's tail was restored.
He returned to Planet Tuffle for a rematch, but even with his tail, he was brutally beaten by Baby Vegeta. As Goku lay in the dust, he looked up at the Earth hanging in the sky like a massive, glowing marble.
"It seems... I can't protect it this time," Goku whispered, his strength fading.
But as he stared at the Earth, his body began to convulse. His pupils turned a feral red, his heartbeat thundered like a drum, and the primal Ki of the Saiyan race began to overflow. It was the precursor to the Great Ape transformation.
Sengoku: "Wait, I thought a Saiyan needed a full moon to transform into a Great Ape? He's looking at the Earth. How is this happening?"
Garp: "Maybe he's just so concussed he thinks the Earth is a moon?"
Krillin: "Actually, that's happened before! Back at the World Martial Arts Tournament, Master Roshi destroyed the moon, and a werewolf couldn't change back. Roshi hypnotized him into thinking my bald head was the moon, and it worked!"
While the Multiverse audience laughed at the absurdity, Vegeta remained stoic. He knew the science: a Great Ape transformation required the eyes to absorb Blutz Wavesâspecifically 17 million zenoâusually emitted by sunlight reflecting off a moon.
What the viewers and even Vegeta hadn't fully grasped was the scale. On Planet Tuffle, the Earth was much larger and closer than any moon. It wasn't just reflecting light; it was saturating the atmosphere with a massive concentrated dose of Blutz Waves. Goku wasn't just transforming; he was being subjected to a cosmic-level catalyst.
The golden fur began to sprout. The roar that followed didn't just shake the groundâit echoed across the dimensions.
