"The fuck do you mean there's still no clue?" Damien's growl ripped through the room, thick with barely restrained fury.
The poor man standing before him visibly trembled, shrinking into himself as if he could disappear under the weight of Damien's rage. The Alpha's aura flooded the room like a storm heavy, vicious, suffocating. It pressed down on everyone present, sharp and merciless.
Damien looked like a man on the edge of killing someone.
"A… Alpha, we… we did locate several places," one member of the IT team stammered, his voice shaking. "B-but after further investigation, we confirmed she wasn't at any of them."
Damien's head snapped toward him, his glare slicing through the air like a blade.
"It's been three fucking days," he said, a dark, dangerous snicker escaping him. "So what the hell have you all been doing this whole time?"
Every person in the room flinched.
The fear that settled over the space was palpable, thick enough to choke on.
