The Countess' servant took off his clothes.
I set it aside at first, but I was going to need it later.
"So you're going to let me go now right?"
I sighed.
I really didn't want to kill him, I didn't want to kill anybody. But this was a necessary part of my plan, or else I would get caught.
So as he began to turn his back to me, I grabbed my knife.
Once I found the perfect opportunity I stabbed the knife through his throat. He fell on the ground, his back facing up.
"I'll have to get used to this," I thought with a bloodied knife in my hand. "He must've had a family waiting for him at home."
Looking at my bloodied hand, I realize this is all fake. It's a world I created.
But despite that, I still felt the guilt of ending a life.
Though it doesn't really matter anymore.
I threw his body into a nearby river and cleaned up the mess.
Two hours should've passed, which means the masquerade ball has only been going on for an hour.
Once I get dressed, walk into the manor, and sneak in around fourty-five minutes would've passed.
I put his clothes on and layered it with my clothes. His clothes looked too formal for an average man to be wearing, and it could've drawn some attention on the street. Of course, I would've taken my clothes off when I'm near the manor.
After thirty minutes of walking, I finally arrived near the back of the manor.
