William used all his will and strength to bear the extremely robust and heavy aura from the War General.
But the aura was too overbearing that William puked out a mouthful of blood. Still his back and knees didn't bend a bit. He was still looking at the War General with a strong sense of fighting spirit.
In truth William's fighting spirit was so strong that he entered a trance state that he was not even aware that he was looking wrongly at the senior whose body was bearing the aura of a war veteran.
Silver quickly sensed when William vomited blood from the pressure of the aura.
turned and her expression all grimed.
General Crimson-Spear had no bad intention. He was just provoked and testing the youth. But the moment the youth coughed out blood, he learned everything he needed.
"Oh! How strange? The boy seemed to enter a strange state it must have been partly due to my aura. He is not any hidden expert but a battle obsessed young lad who awoke his inner spirit. That must also something to do with my earlier action. I must released my battle aura. But his trance state will be abruptly stop. I'll maintain my aura until he could last…. Brat! Consider this as fate. I like your obsession. But you owe me a fight when you grow up." He muttered.
Silver called out but in response William would cough out blood from time to time. This made her worry.
She reached out her hand for William and the war general warned, "Stop it, little girl?" She didn't care as she continued and a strong forced blasted her flying.
The general was planning to help her but halt his hand as Silver flipped multiple times in the air and landed with four limbs like a cat over the ground.
"So you must be the one doing this to my brother." She glared at the man as if a predator eying on a prey. Her naked killing intent was well aware by everyone present here.
"Stop it, Silver! You're no match. Just come to sense and let's apologized to Venerable War General." Ashley warned as she did study a lot about Kingdom Of Hornbill before coming on this trip. She was always a careful person.
Even some uncle began to spoke. Because they all knew from the current amount of Yuan Qi in her body that she was currently in the Early Stage of The Blood Opening Realm. The first realm was the Flesh Tempering realm. Then the Blood Opening Realm was the realm where they had successfully evoke their bloodline power and could use certain amount of Earthly Yuan Qi if they had meridian. It was not the case for William even though he had succeeded he couldn't use any Yuan Qi because of his messed up meridian.
Compare to this kid with early Blood Opening realm, every uncle here heard the infamous name of War General Crimson-Spear of the Hornbill Kingdom had already reach the third Realm of cultivation the Yuan Foundation Realm a few decades away. Plus he was not just any normal Yuan Foundation cultivators.

What about this if I left my guard down?" He muttered to himself. Actually, after facing several experts in countless battles and wars, as a War Veteran, he was always in guard even when he was sleep. That was why he woke up when he felt a strong unadultered fighting intent from William.
Quickly he left many opening.
But what caught him surprise was how quick was her considering she was only in the early stage of the Second Realm. He had never seen any genius all his long life in the Second realm 'Yuan Opening' who had such reaction. The only possibility was that she had inborn reaction or from an Assassin Hidden Villages. That too trained when she started taking her first step as a toddler even before learning to talk. It was not far from the truth.
But he would vomit blood if he learned that William only groomed her for a month for her to reach such state. And he would never learned of this truth.
Silver moved swiftly and from out of nowhere a two curved daggers appeared on her palms. One aiming for the throat.
"As expected, she is an assassin." The General whispered from experiences. He easily dodged the strike as he slightly lean but he quickly choose to side stepped as he quickly sensed the knife for the throat was just a probe and the real hidden strike was from the back on his backbone, a precise strike.
"If this is anyone else within Second Realm then they would be a goner." He commented full of excitement.
